We have regained the lead. 34-33. Thornton has just scored on two easy baskets and Thomas put up a high arching jumper in the paint.

That's crazy how the bench is about a foot lower than the court. I didn't know that before.

Powell just picked up his 3rd and Z will go to the line.l He hits 1 and it's a tie game @ 34.

Well, we're up at the half! Great job by the guys hangin' tough. Hopefully Cleveland doesn't wake up...their poor shooting probably has a lot to do with our having the lead, unfortunately.

Boobie hits a 3 to cut the Clips lead down to 2 to head into the half. Solid first half by the Clippers. It's good to see Thornton bouncing back from his 1-15 performance last night.

Cassell needs to get more involved to start the 2nd half.

I'm glad that we're leading in the second half. We better not have a repeat performance of last night.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

This is one of the rare Clippers games I can get on my TV service, and can only get it with the irritating Cavs announcers, but it's been a great game to watch so far.
I think the Clippers can take this one.
I'm very impressed by Cat's strong play, especially on that twisted ankle --- it was unnerving to see him go down with that.
I wish the point guards didn't have such a collection of fouls, but it should be okay now that we'll be into the second half.
Everyone keep playing well, and playing unified, and this can have a very happy ending.
Go Clips!

I see that we are down seven, let's see if we can pick it up.

I've missed most of the 3rd so far but I see we're trailing by 7 ouch. Clippers have not rebounded at all in the 3rd? :o

Mobley hits a 19 foot turnaround jumper to pull us within 4 as the 3rd quarter winds down. At one point in the 3rd quarter (within the last 3 minutes) Cleveland had out-rebounded us 10-0 in the quarter. That's unacceptable. I'm glad that we were able to trim the deficit though. We have to play 12 minutes of smart basketball to be in the position. Unfortunately that may not be enough when you're going against LeBron.

After the first 2 1/2 minutes the Cavs extend their lead to 10.
