Bucks just need to stay the course
They have some bad contracts (Simmons and Gadz). It's tough when good teams have the whole cap spent on good players.
On top of that, many of our core players are VERY young.
Just make sure not to screw up in the draft's, don't make any more **** desperate big signings and let the team develop. It's a tough time right now for Bucks fans, but the only thing that will fix this thing is a couple years of sustained good decisions and then getting the dead weight off the books.
Don't start panicking until Harris makes another big move. If he stands pat this off season and shows 16 year old levels of patience rather than 6 year old, things will start to round into shape. If he try's to desperately fix it in one off season, we're doomed for even longer because those type of moves RARELY, if ever, work out.

No, they really shouldn't. Because this course has a final destination of Las Vegas. Which is fantastic for the franchise, but a big bucket of crap for us fans.

The problem is Redd and Mo will never be a good fit together in the backcourt. Both need to shoot too much and are too clueless on defense.
However, I agree that Bogut and Yi should develop into a dominant pairing in the front court. It may take a few more seasons, but it'll come. the HUGE problem though is whether the team will still be in milwaukee then, and if our team has another year like this one I worry that we won't.

yeah no way we stay the course our whole team sucks except yi bogut and cv.
mo and redd never fit together and imo if we trade redd do you guys as fellow bucks fans honestly see mo saying i need to pass more, HELL NO he will think he needs to shoot more the same thing happened with redd when ray and big dog left he decided he need to shoot more and you can not reverse that look at him now. that would be cool if he did more than just shoot, so in order to right this bucks team both need to go but redd for sure. that is why i want jkidd even though he wouldn't help any short or longterm he would shot the BUCKS how basketball is suppose to be played and would establish a foundation of ballmovement and some sort of consistent effort heading into the future.
bell i think he can still come around if he realizes he is staying in milwaukee.
simmons and mase-simmons is better than mason but still need to rid him unless our new 2 is a slasher more than a shooter he is a SG in a stocky PF'S body won;t work.
cv would be our starting pf of the future next to bogut to bad he is playing behind the teams bank. althugh yi brings the same thing cv does with better defense at 2 1/2 years less exp. so it is the right choice to move cv unfortunately.
gadz-just wait him out.
really bogut and yi are the only players i would keep around they are the only unselfish quality players on this team with the knolwedge of what a basketball team should play like.
unfortunately i think LH is the type of GM that can clean house real well as he always seems to scrounge up a trade, but not the right guy for the rebuilding GM, although can we get better? do you see any other guy being able to swindle kohl into deals. i think LH is the best guy to get kohl to agree to deals, he tries not to be a puppet.
do we have a good chance at getting an upgrade over LH with the way kohl treats his gm's? i dont think so.

I agree sssssssnake. This is the third youngest team in the league.
Stay the course. The so called bad contracts of Simmons and Gadz is unfounded. Gadz performed well when he was given regular PT. I think he's just given up because of the dump. Simmons being out all last year and post 2 surgeries is still trying to find his old form and I think we see that form coming around now. What's killed this team this year has been intermittent injuries all year to key and non key players. This along with a rookie coach who still doesn't have a clue and disgruntled players longing for respect. Yeah, unacceptable defense along with a supporting cast that has not been supporting all year. And Yi, maybe a good draft pick but certainly not good enough to be starting. Just give him his promised minutes which many games is killing the team. Keep this team together for experience, sacrafice this season, get a good lottery pick, pray for no injuries and come out next season kicking arse. I still think a healthy Bucks team can make the playoffs this season.

Of course it is. The Bucks are damn lucky that Lew Alcindor trade worked in their favor.

Yeah, because we could really use another guy sitting on the bench in a suit

It takes time for young players to develop.
Look at the Raptors. They were junk, but then their young players jelled.
Look at the Bulls. They were a solid playoff team until they added too many young players to their rotation. They have regressed in the minds of most. In reality, they are just too young in too many positions.
The Bucks are still developing pieces. Changes will need to be made and players will have to develop. It will take time.

We could use some explanation as to how the Bulls went "too young" this year?
The core backcourt of Hinrich, Gordon, Duhon is still there.....
The core frontcourt of Noc, Wallace, Deng is still there.....
What happened between last year and this year to make the Bulls so young that they can't sniff .500? I just don't see it.
