We seem to be interested. Here are a few trade possibilities straight up with the Clips. Post your thoughts or ideas on Cassell.

Najera and probably a pick for Cassell

Najera and Wafer or Diawara for Cassell

JR Smith, Najera, and Atkins for Cassell and Tim Thomas. -Gets a big who can shoot back for the loss Najera.

Yak, Smith and Atkins for Cassell and Quintin Ross

I don't see the point of giving them much value. Certainly don't see a reason to give them any picks.

Why trade Jr in a deal for an old man who will be a free agent next season anyway?
Iverson, Iggy, Willie Green, Sammy D, Josh Smith, Rasheed and Ben Wallace, Larry Hughes Garnett, Francis, Lebron, Melo, K Mart, Wade, Amare, Q Richardson, T Mac, DC, and C Webb

Because he said he wants to sign with Denver next season anyway and we know JR will never get another good chance as long as Karl is the coach. Sam would give us a smart player running the offense, he would make a huge difference even if only for 25 min a game.

I wouldn't trade anything more than Atkins and Hunter for him.

Would he really do a much better job than AC is doing right now? I don't think so. So why give up anything of value when we can just wait and sign him for cheap in the offseason.

I like what AC is doing right now and I think he's going to be way more durable than Cassell.

The main advantage Cassell has though is leadership and playoff experience.

If the Nugs traded Chucky and JR for Cassell though, I'd take it. That's really about the only trade I think would work, unless LA would take Yak instead of JR.

AC is really starting to show that he can't handle 30 minutes a night and since chucky is out for awhile I say the FO should do what they can to get the alien or another solid pg.

Perfect fit. 6'0" with a .242 career percentage from downtown. If he was a 34 year-old instead a sophomore with no playoff experience, Karl would LOVE it.

2 six-footers playing in the backcourt would be suicide in the playoffs.
