For Shaq ???????? This was a topic over on the Heat boards . When I replied that Heat fans were crazy to ever think that the Suns would do this they got all bent out of shape , and stated that a Suns fan had posted this trade scenario in the first place.

Then some went on to say why not , The Suns give away their picks anyways.

I stated that I spoke for EVERY SUNS FAN , when I said that no way would the Suns do that trade , nor would the Suns fans want it.

Well apparently the Mod over there thinks that I'm wrong .

So lets see.

How many of you ( Suns Fans) would trade Marion and Atlantas first round pick for Shaq ???

Nobody would do that trade. We are hoping for Atlanta to miss the playoffs. If Atlanta does make the playoffs it will only be around the 15th-17 pick. That is much higher than any of the picks we traded before. In addition, it is the only pick we have this year because we already traded our pick. I wouldn't trade Marion for Shaq let alone Marion and the pick.

On a side note, if the heat traded shaq, what happens with the 53 seconds or whatever that they are going to replay with Atlanta?

Personally, I'll definitely throw up if we actually trade for Shaq, no matter whether the deal includes the Atlanta pick, or even Miamai's unprotected 1st rounder in the next draft - Shaq is done, keep him and his awful contract away from Phoenix!

No way would I do Marion and ATL pick for shaq. I actually laughed when I saw the trade. Now Marion for Shaq and miami pick unprotected (likely to be top 3 pick) I would have to think about it.
