I think it's the offensive system Young is in, that & he needs some serious time in the D-League.

Jamison and Butler no rest so far = Wiz will get blown out by 40.

Give him 2 years. You would have called Yao a bust after his first few games wouldn't you?

I'll never understand all those yahoos at Verizon rooting for the Lakers. Well-heeled yahoos, but yahoos nonetheless.

I'll never understand the root-root-rooting, by the hometown fans, for Kobe Bryant. Not just the rooting, but the gasping, the oohing, the constant adoration. (A man, by the way, named for a piece of meat. Telling.)

The Lakers are such a smug team. Bryant and Phil Jackson, the charlatan shaman -- they are the essence of smug. It's all over their faces, their carriages. But even Luke Walton, a scrub, is smug.

Who can root for these guys the way the crowd is so obviously rooting for the Lakers today? It's like rooting for Halliburton, like rooting for the Nazis, like rooting for Stalin, like rooting for Steinbrenner, like rooting for Microsoft ...

You would think that EJ would try to think outside the box a-bit. BTH was effective the one time we threw the ball into the post. Why-not AB & BTH in together, or even AB, BTH, & OPech. Why the F not?

Wizards would have had a better chance not having Butler and Jamison at forwards.

Caron at SG with Jamison at SF and Blatche at PF is the way to go if they have any shot.

Put DeShawn and Roger at PG because the Lakers perimeter shooters will kill Antonio Daniels. AD is a total liability against LAL.

EJ doesn't know Blatche could change this game at PF.

It's just not the Lakers, its every away team. You will always find a section cheering for the opposing team and the sad thing is, they will be louder than the home team. The lower level (at least the majority of them, excluding the people here) are suits who have no affiliation with the team. They just go, drink a beer, and not really do much. We have true fans, they are just outnumbered by corporate guys.

because Darius Songaila is doing so well that Eddie simply can't afford to take him out...

edit: you can't say enough about how terrible Songaila has been this season both offensively and defensively. Today is no exception.

seriously, we are playing like the WORST defense in the league. No doubt about it. This team no longer cares about playing defense. Songaila is a **** scum bag. He should offer to give back all the money we are paying him.

I wish I could coach the team just for this game.

I'd put DeShawn, Butler, Jamison, Blatche, and Haywood out there with only Mason and McGuire off the bench.

I'd foul LA's perimeter shooters and Kobe and turn it into an ugly game.

I don't like Eddie's soft play and Songaila lovefest. Daniels would sit all the rest of this game.

we're in a slump right now and the Lakers are a really good team this year. It's not the end of the **** world...it's an 82 game season.

Ernie Grunfeld has to get rid of Songailia somehow. Just get rid of him so Eddie Jordan doesn't get tempted to play him. As comical as it sounds, the roster literally needs to be "coach-proofed."

I just don't understand how a player so ineffective gets so much playing time. This is ridiculous.

It's at the point where you just foul Kobe, so at the most, he gets 2 made free throws instead of the automatic made shot plus the foul.

Gotta wonder what EJ is thinking - killing Butler and Jamison and using Songaila at center. Game over. The only reason to watch is to see how many Kobe will score.
