Detroit doesnt have any "real" big men either, but at least they play like they do...Sheed/Antonio and Maxiell all play much bigger and give the Pistons exactly what they need...I really like Maxiell's game, he's dangerous...

It did? I'm pretty sure Detroit was victorious against Cleveland in 06.

Obviously, the OP doesn't watch enough Detroit basketball to know anything about what Sheed and Dice do or don't do in the post.

Dice is averaging 8.7 rpg, his highest rate since 00-01 with Denver when he got injured.

Sheed not a good defender? HA!! He's averaging 1.6 bpg which ranks him 19th in the league. He averaging 1.4 spg which ranks him 23rd in the NBA, and he's got a 1.08 steal per TO rate which ranks him 8th in the NBA. He's also one of the best one-on-one post defenders in the league.

As a team, the Pistons average 5.13 bpg which ranks them 10th in the NBA and only get blocked 3.69 bpg which makes them best in the league.

You want to critize what Sheed says, by all means go ahead, but don't talk about something you obviously have no knowledge of.

Sheed might be joking, it's not like he hates them or looks down at them or whatever. When Chris Webber got signed by the Warriors this year, Sheed called him up and said "Hey wassup Chris. Good luck breaking that team apart this year. k bye.".

I like how Rasheed always blurts out funny **** like that.

Why does everyone care so much about what one NBA player says about another? It honestly doesn't make any difference to me what someone says about my team or a player on it, even if it's disrespectful. Who gives a flip.

Yeah, but Rasheed guaranteed victory for Game 5 or 6, and Cleveland won both of those.

Some of you might want to click on the link rather than just reading the headline. 'Sheed called Damp a real big man and I don't think the comment was intended to be directed at the Mavs' bench. Ballings7 summed it up well.

Sheed has 4 blocks while the Dallas pillsbury soft big men have 1 block between the three of them(Bass, Dampier and Diop). Rasheed is shorter and leaner but a much bigger man then these 3 clowns.

Tell us the truth; do you feel silly?

How ironic is this thread? Especially for you funny individuals who were dissing Rasheed. This is too funny. I like to go back and read the quotes and then look at the box score it's like a joke that keeps on giving.

Rasheed Wallace 21 pts 9 rebs 3 asts 1 stl 4 blks 9-18 fg 3-4 3pts

And if you want to get technical... Sheed had 21 pts 8 rebs 2 asts 1 stl 4 blks on 9-17 fg and 3-4 3pt through 3 quarters. He attempted 1 shot (missed) gathered all of 1 reb and 1 asts before Saunders cleared the bench.

Guess we had a big man in this game, oh... its the same team.

Dallas doesnt care about Detroit, much less about Sheed. Tell him that and lock this up.
