With Kobe on your team playoff experience is overrated. Kobe with the teammates he has now can win one series by himself alone.

Lamar's assists could go way up when you consider how many he loses without having a solid post presence. He didn't seem to have great chemistry with Drew, for what I always suspected was less than great post position by Drew, but Lamar would always get it into Kwame, on entries and off drives, but Kwame couldn't catch or finish.
Gasol will catch and finish those, and definitely has Lamar's respect as a player, so I'm looking for Lamar to rack up some triple dubs and could see his assists to 6-7 per minimum the rest of the way.

How could I accept that when Lamar was obviously the best post entry passer, as well passer off the dribble, to Kwame? He feeds Mihm frequently too. I agree he hasn't connected with Drew on the alley oops, but actually in the week or two before Drew got hurt Lamar was regularly starting to feed him like Kwame, and I believe that had something to do with Drew's improving position (depth) in the post, since if a guy receives an entry pass too far out, the spacing is ruined, the cutting lanes are closed, and the post man with the ball is left on an island or just has to pass it back out.

Meh. Start a poll. The vast majority will agree that LO does not connect on passes with Drew or Kwame nearly as well as the other ballhandlers do, despite him being given lots of opportunities to do so.

The better the players that surround you, the easier the game becomes. The addition of Pau will of course make Odom better. I don't mind keeping him, but the ultimate high score at SF would not be Lamar, it would be a Rick Fox type role player. Odom will play well with Pau and Bynum, but what he brings is no longer what we need the most.
Unless Phil will keep playing Kobe at the three (which I think he should), we should look to cash in on an Odom trade.
