kobe looking YOUNGER
Is it just me or does kobe look rejuvinated?
During these past two games, he looks like a happy little kid having a grand time. it's indecent to look so happy.
earlier this season, i was starting to wonder if kobe was showing signs of age, not lifting off as much, not dunking as much, sagging shoulders occasionally.
but wow, these two games, he has been flying, throwing some thunderous dunks, and has just been looking very sharp. granted, they went up against some pretty crappy teams, but kobe just looks JUICED.
i think he's really excited and sniffs championship.

I agree with the OP and I was just mentioning the same thing in another thread.
Kobe is definitely feeling it right now with the potential of the Gasol trade.
I believe that up until now, it was going through the motions but not really giving his best effort. Now that he knows Gasol is coming, he is like a little kid out there again. The last two games are the most energized I've seen him this entire season.

Raptor fan here. I watched him in the game against us the other day and today against Washington. I think the word we're looking for here is dangerous. Kobe just looks damn dangerous right now. And the rest of the league should be shaking in their boots. I'm just glad he's in the western conference, and we only have to face him twice a year.

He was rejuvenated by the prospect of being on top of the league again. Losing will cause even the most fearsome warrior to lose his passion and the way this team played the last three seasons did exactly that to Kobe. Every time Odom shoots an airball, Walton misses an open jumper or Kwame Brown drops a pass, Kobe died a little inside. And now, finally, he is excited about the situation of his team again.

I agree, he is looking freaking sharp, like he wants to cut everyone up, and is looking for the best way to do it.

Yeah. I think that's pretty much it.
Some players just are able to find that extra gear when there's a great chance at a championship -- doesn't mean they weren't trying their hardest.. just sometimes when you realise you've got a great chance at a championship (or championships) you're somehow able to find that extra gear.

I haven't seen Kobe like this in a while and I thought I was the only one to realize it lol. Kobe is playing with a burst of fire and really playing at an amazing level. He is getting to the basket with ease and not onyl that but he is dumping it. I can only hope that he keeps his agressive ways up espicaly with Pau coming into the lineup next game. The way Kobe is playing now and with Pau coming and Bynum a few weeks away is going to be so scary that half the league will sh*t their pants.

Couldn't agree more.
He's played really well since Bynum went out, but I really noticed that Kobe "swagger" come back at the end of the Detroit game where he made like 4 of 5 shots down the stretch.
That carried over to Toronto where I haven't seen Kobe with that kind of bounce in his step all season.
Its really fun to watch and exciting to see how it meshes with Pau.

I get shivers thinking of this. Just coming into opponents' arenas with the mentality of domination, and opponents just reeking of fear and submission (I could sniff it from the Wizards on my 50" plasma).
Good times coming!
