Post#1 » by mavsfoty » Sun Feb 3, 2008 4:38 pm

Well guys I was going to wait until after the All-Star Game to unveil the upgrade to the gamethread but I couldn't wait. It's been something I've been tinkering with awhile using my graphics skills. But enough talk. Behold the new Dallas Mavericks Gamethread!

Beautiful thread. The Mavs always seem to play well against Detroit, but without Devin its definately gonna be tough, espescially on the defensive side. Anyone know if Stack will play? That would help.

Well with Rasheed saying he is gonna put the Mavs on their butts it should be a rough and tumnle game. I expect he will foul out. Too bad DJ Benga is gone. I think Josh and Rasheed might meet today.

"We've just got to put their (butt) in a hole on the other end, put their (butt) right down there on them chop blocks (the post)," Wallace said. "They don't have no real big men, actually. The only real big man I'd say is Damp (Eric Dampier) because he fits that classic big man mold. ... But they've got a lot of slashers on their team. It's a team full of slashers. I'm not saying they're not good, but, hey, in order to hold their slashing down, put their (butt) on the chop blocks."

Apparently it is now legal to run over Dirk.

14 missed shots in a row and no points in the last 4 minutes of the quarter.

I suppose so. It happened many times and I hope the refs start calling it on Detroit.

The thing is though the changes are in street clothes. Ie. Stack and especially DH.

Ugly game but we're hanging in there. If we can keep it close into the 4th we might have a shot.

- no ball movement, every basket is hard for us. No one drives. We live and die by the outside shot and mostly die by it.

we need Kidd, Devin, Derek Harper, Mike Izzolino....ANYBODY cuz this **** is ugly.

looks like we'll get a third loss in a row against orlando tomorrow and will have to listen to dipshits say our team is no good etc etc. at least the announcers on abc realize the importance of not having Harris.

Diop showed more in the couple of minutes he was in than Dampier showed the entire game. Dampier to thebench, Diop to start! Make it Happen!!!

And I'm still missing our 2nd best player, Devin Harris, bad.
