As long as the Patriots didn't win, I was going to be happy...I'm happy.

yes....they put the super in super bowl with that game. Tom Petty as the halftime show as well.

It's great the patriots lost...the only bad thing is those '72' Dolphins can continue to grease their egos as they trudge into social security

Helluva play down the stretch. Manning is in the grasp, but escapes, throws long downfield and the receiver makes an unbelievable catch using his helmet to hang onto the ball. WOW!

This was an amazing game. The Pats tried to comeback but Eli Manning was amazing on the final drive. The key was obviously defense and it was definitely fun to see Brady get sacked a million times! I'm not much of a giants fans but GO GIANTS!!!

I only watched late in the 4th, the best part of this game. Great end. I'm so glad the Patriots lost and won't get the perfect record. For one, I don't like Belichick and seeing him leave before the game was even over was classic. The other thing, I know that blow-hard Bill Simmons is in Boston crying over some sort of cheap beer. That makes it all worth while, even for someone who could care less about the NFL.

Not happy at all that a NY team won a championship, but cannot help smiling about the Pats losing.

I'm terrible with song names so I'll guess from the lyrics:

American Girl
Free falling
Run Down dream...or running?
I Won't back down

I actually fell asleep during halftime. I guess I really needed a nap.

It's definitely worth watching. If the patriots go 18-0 next season, They should definitely call up Tom Petty to make them lose again.

On another note, the city of Boston is now 1-1 in the 3 major sports. I'm hoping that they go 1-2 through losing the NBA championship!

I only caught the second half of the game .. but wow that has to be one of the best Super Bowls in recent memory. I was so bummed when the Pats came back in the 4th and I figured they had it wrapped up with a minute or so to go .. but some miracle plays later and the Giants had it. That was a fun game to watch .. at least the half I saw. :D

Man what a game. So good to see the Giants win, even though I hate them in the regular season. It was easy to root for Coughlin and Strahan for me.

Also, about half time my dad called and said he just won me two tickets to Blazers vs. Seattle on the 21st. Boyahhh.

My favorite part is that Brady was all offended by Plaxico's prediction of a 23-17 Giants upset. Not because they lose, but because he guessed they would score so little. Then they go and score EVEN LESS. MWA HA HA!

On another note, if it turns out they cheated in the Superbowl win over my Rams in '01 like has been reported, I'm gonna be uber pissed. :nonono:

My hate for the Patriots runs deep (see picture)

Not a Giants fan in particular, but watching the Pats lose was just 1 notch below seeing a Blazer's victory.[/img]
