To think, some of us thought he wouldn't have been such a bad option when DC was still the coach (he was an assistant when James was in Seattle, rumor had it he was able to get through to him.)

At least Green has lost the label of "worst player to demand a trade in the last month." Bravo Jerome.

I'd still swap Jaric for him, just to save a contract year. I dont even care if he plays a minute in MN.

Jaric is playing his best basketball as a Timberwolf... I wouldn't swap... and I like the game topics with Adriana's photos...

Shaving a year off Jaric is pointless. Shave off two or keep him.

Why is it pointless? I would think one year is better than nothing.

And yes I'll admit Jaric is playing well this year but most likely he's not part of the future here. When the young core comes into its own and they're playing in their prime, Jaric wont be here. Why not shave a year if we can?

Its pointless to shave a year or even 2 off of Jaric assuming he plays even decently in 2 years he will be a 2 year contract with a decent skillset and good defense that helps virtually any playofff contending team. It will be much easier to move him as time goes on, and he does have some value even if thats simply defense or bench depth.

Our target year for being clear of salary is summer of 09, so we need to shave off 2 years or else it is a worthless trade. I'd toss in an asset to get out of Jaric's contract by then to free up some significant cap space.

Jaric has at least been productive for us. I don't want to take on Jerome just for relief.

Green, Jerome James, and now... Devean George asks for a trade? Jeez, who would want these guys. who's next Brian Cardinal?

The fact is these guys shouldn't be in the league and they wouldn't play for any team.

Maybe 5 years ago. All my friends are Lakers fans and there is no player they have ever hated more than Devean George.

I saw you guys had a Jerome James thread and had to drop by. I blame the announcement that Jason Collins got dealt for James speaking out. I mean if a guy with a 2.05 PER can be traded then anyone has hope.

BTW, glad you guys got Foye back. I really like him as a player. Too bad it'll cost you some ping pong balls come draft time.
