You can clearly see the hoop as well as Jamario in the reflection on the hardwood. He doesn't even go near the hoop and just holds the ball in mid air and falls back down. It got me at first, though.

it's from nbatv so it seems like a viral video campaign to get more people to watch the dunk contest this year. honestly, now i'm kind of worried and dissappointed that it may not have been real. i hope he actually does this.

I'm surprised nobody has suggested this yet: Maybe someone else dunked it right after Moon flew by. It was all off-camera, and the shadows are super hard to make out. It wouldn't be that hard to do.
I didn't think something like this was possible, and honestly, I really don't think he could do it. I just hope he's not setting us up for a letdown.
Jamario, please prove me and any concept I have of physics wrong.

Yes, it was intentional. A bit clever... nice acting by Joey.
I doubt he made that last dunk.
I highly doubt he did a 360 or a windmill from there - so there's no real point in actually hiding the finish... unless of course he didn't make it. I think he missed it - but touched the rim... and the other guys just went Ohhhhh... n so forth.

I can't believe anyone would think that was a real video. it was simply a promotional video made by nba.com to get some hype for the dunk contest. i guess it worked. why do you think they have jamario saying the little "they dunk. you decide." slogan at the end? do you think jamario was saying that in in his own secret underground video that somehow turned up on the front page of nba.com? fake. promotional. no dunk. look at the reflections.

Actually if you look closely, you see the shadow moving all the way to the net. Whats more if you are keen eyed you can see the reflection of the net fluttering as the ball goes through it right when shadow reaches.

Obviously it is a staged video for NBA.com, but to say that he can't do that dunk b/c of 'the reflection' is a little dumb. I mean, do you really think that Moon would promote a dunk that he can't do???
Like he's gonna step up at the comp, and only to do a normal FT line dunk and be like 'fooled ya, didn't I?? You all thought I was gonna go from 2 feet back didn't ya?? hahaha...' Yeah I'm sure that would be a smart move....
In reality, I would not be the least bit surprised if 1. he takes off from the same spot as the video, and 2. throws in a little windmill or tomahawk to go with it.
50 points. Book it.
