Just did a quick scan of rosters and the only name that jumped out at me with that criteria besides the two listed was...

Antoine Walker.

Don't worry, I already slapped myself.

The only 2 names that fit the bill that I can think of are Andres Nocioni and Ron Artest. Anybody else?

I'm sure Eric Williams is available.

How the heck are we going to turn Dixon into Nocioni or Artest?

Because it rhymes with 'Olajuwon'.

How would we look to acquire someone like Artest? Kapono and Parker are the only pieces to mix with Dixon that match salaries for someone like Artest and I don't see that deal working.

I don't think Artest is on BC's radar whatsoever but I suppose it could happen. Nocioni makes perfect sense but I'd expect the Bulls would want quite a bit more than just Dixon; they won't go from offering Andres for Gasol to just giving him away. Even though a trade would be tricky due to his BYC status he does make quite a bit of sense as a trade target from both sides. I wonder if the Bulls aren't looking to get even younger after their season so far (particularly after failing to land a star for garbage) and if a package starting with Humphries (they could really use him desperately and I think he'd fit in well over there) and Dixon would interest them at all.

For the most part, the kinds of SFs that would be available for Dixon and most of the filler I expect the Raptors to be offering won't be any better than Kapono, Graham, Delfino and Moon.

I think the point is that Colangelo is not likely to trade Dixon until Ford's situation is settled.

What is interesting is whether there is a deal that has been in the works, but the holdup has been the Raps unwillingness to trade Dixon as long as Ford is out.

That's why I think Nocioni and Artest are the only two that fit the bill. If we're getting back another so-so player, then what's the use?

If BC adds yet another SF I think he's also got to move a couple of them. How many guys who can play SF does the team actually need? Moon, Graham, Delfino, Kapono, Parker (on occasion) and Garbajosa should be back next season. Adding another guy to that list without thinning it out makes absolutely no sense unless this team is willing to move forward with only 2 PGs and 4 bigs.

I do not want Nocioni on this team. Watching the Bulls this year has exposed him to me as:
-A chucker. He takes very ill-advised long jumpers, even when there are two guys in is face. I've never seen one player kill so many fast breaks by pulling up for an 18 footer instead of pressing the advantge.
- NOT a good defender, contrary to popular belief. He puts a lot of effort in and flys around as if he was doing something, but the main reasons that he does so are that he begins in a bad defensive position against his match-up and then doesn't have the lateral quicks to recover adequately. With the lack of a capable help defender in the paint to erase these mistakes, he'd make the Raptors D even worse.
-Overpaid. Signed above the MLE until 2012, and then there is a team option.

Ed Najera might fit the bill. He's expiring though, so I'm not sure that's the kind of value Denver wants. Maybe Dixon and Moon or some such deal. Or Dixon for Kleiza and some parts, I'd do that in a shot (although Denver likely wouldn't :D ).

Moving at least one SF would be necessary though, perhaps even two. I'm with Dirt in thinking that an excess of SFs is not what the team wants to run with. So a one for one lateral move might not be what B-Co's looking at.

Kleiza or Gomes would be my two choices if we're not going to consider the Artests and Nocioni's of the world. Apparently Sacremento is looking into dealing Artest for Najera and Kleiza, so that's the kind of package we'd need to put together. Najera and Kleiza? We can't match that, unless we are willing to part with Jose, Andrea or our first-rounder. I think Nocioni is more realistic, even though his BYC status complicates matters.

Any trade will also probably include JoeyG.
