I think he would be fine at PG if he played next to another facilitator. He'd be a nice player in LA, perhaps, next to Kobe. I also think the same could be said about Houston and McGrady.

The contract isn't an issue. He's paid over 9 million once over the course of the deal. That's right in line with what most productive guards get paid now days.

Cutino Mobley, Kirk Hinrich, Larry Hughes, Jason Terry, Jason Williams, Quentin Richardson, Jamal Crawford and Andre Miller. All guys making more than Mo Williams, all comparable on some level. I'm not even counting the guys making significantly more that don't do what Mo does. Guys like Marbury, Francis, Wally and Bibby.

Mo's versatile and comes reasonably priced. I think if put in the right situation, of which there are plenty IMO, he could really shine.

I don't want to get into another debate about Mo's contract and I agree that on a team with a strong facilitator (like Miami, Cleveland and the Lakers he'd do well). I do think there still may be some questions around the league about whether he's better served being a starter or a sixth man on a good team. He's being paid starter's money so a team would have to really like him in that role to trade for him in my opinion.

He's a starting caliber guard. There's no doubt in my mind about that. It just may not be here. Bogut's a fine player, but if he's our facilitator for the next ten years we're in trouble. We all know Redd can't be that guy. Mo has his days when he looks like he could, but they don't come consistently.

I've long said that Mo would be the guy that returns the best package of all our likely trade assets. I like him a lot, but his spot may be somewhere else unless we can somehow add a star caliber wing in the offseason.

There is this team in Milwaukee that seems to think highly of Mo. I bet he ends the year with them.

I bet he does too. I don't think we're going to see a major trade (and by major I mean something involving Redd, Bogut or Mo). And yes, the Bucks do think highly of Mo but the coaching staff also has a lot of issues with his play on both ends of the court.

Europa, I agree no doubt.

As much of a Mo supporter as I am, I would trade him in a heartbeat if it meant the Bucks would improve. I've been advocating dealing Redd, but realistically I've come to the conclusion nobody of any signifigance will get dealt.

Maybe Gadz will get dealt for some useless piece, that's about as extreme as it will get I think.

Before you know it the trade deadline will pass and we can all focus on who we should pick in the draft instead of trades that make sense to the fans and not the owner of the team.
