I seriously double he can pull off that dunk. But oyu never know. J.white has his signature dunk where he takes off from the edge of the free-throw line and dunks it AFTER PUTTING IT BETWEEN HIS LEGS. I seriously doubt moon is going to ever pull of a dunk like that in real life but you never know.
Only thing puzzling me is why the hell he would make a video about it if he knows he cant do it. Theres a reason stars like Lebron don't wanna be in the dunk off. Because they know expectations are too high and they will dissapoint. Thats why people usually try to DOWN-PLAY their drunks in order to surprise come contest time. Moon is seriously hyping himself up and it seems illogical to advertise so blatantly a dunk if he cant do it.

For all the doubters that think Jamario isn't capable of doing some acrobatic stuff. I can't wait!

Well anyways if jamario wins the dunk contest I say we as a group compose a screenplay for a made for t.v movie... or a feature whatever im not picky

I don't like how the NBA is showing the practices though, totally takes away from the dunk contest. What ever happened to suspense? How ridiculous can you get? Which genius came up with that idea? The NBA is dropping the ball with it.
Actually.. it's doing just the opposite.
Check out the comments on the YouTube video:

It's called hyping up an event or launch.
Apple does it with the iPhone, iPod, etc.... why not the NBA?
It seems to be working. There's been a buzz about this year's event... more than any other in the last few years and it's largely due to two things:
1. The fan voting they've added into the mix
2. The pre-event hype videos from the participants
I'll be surprised if this year's All-Star Weekend (and specifically the dunk contest) doesn't outperform all of them since the VC contest in terms of TV ratings.

1st dunk sucked big time. anybody can do a windmill. if you can't do that, you can't go to the dunk contest.
2nd was better, needs something more though. like, a in between the legs 360 slam.
3rd will make people fall off their chairs but if anything. this should be the first dunk that he makes coz otherwise, he probably won't make it to the finals with his first 2 dunks.

I always thought college and high school were 12 feet. I never really thought it could be that easy to shoot a free throw in the NBA I guess.raptorsam wrote:^^
what are you talking about the foul line in high school/college and nba is all the same

Actually if you look closely, you see the shadow moving all the way to the net. Whats more if you are keen eyed you can see the reflection of the net fluttering as the ball goes through it right when shadow reaches.
Any by keen eyed you mean "seeing what you want to?"
the ball stays in his hands until he descends so far you can't see him anymore. Ball never goes through the net.
