That said, the money issue could be an issue with the Bulls because I believe they will be a borderline tax team if they re-sign both Deng and Gordon to anything near the $10MIL per season that they should get. Also, Chris Duhon is a UFA after this season.
Miller is a "close to" ie has one more year left.
Also, I doubt they'll resign Duhon with Sefalosha waiting in the wings. I'm not sure what the market for Duhon would be. $6 mill? He hasn't been good at all this year.

Duho at 6 million would be an absolute albatross IMO.

If he's not the PG we go after, I would be content with us drafting Bayless or Collison.
OMG - you would give Duhon 6 mil? That is just unreal. This guy may be THE WORST shooting PG in the league. He is pure backup material and I want him no where near this team as a starter. I'm sure glad some people here aren't running the Sixers.
Check out the season he's having...
In 13 starts this year (27 mpg), he's averaging 4.2 pts on 25.6% shooting. Yes, I said 25.6% shooting. The guy has never shot at least 41% in his career. He's a joke on offense. I'm not sure there's many PG's I would want LESS than Duhon.

That is bad. I didn't realize he was having such an offseason.

Having Hinrich on the floor, would also compliment Lou Will's game, as Hinrich could push Point and guard SG's.
As much as I am a fan of Lou...
Is Hinrich a good enough defender to cover SG's? Having a backourt of Lout and Hinrich could mean bad defenders at both positions. Hinrich is a decent defender at the PG position, but he is too undersized (like WG) to effectively guard PG's, and we know Lou is weak on D.
Hinrich would be a decent option at PG, but not teamed with
lou for extended minutes.

Heres a trade that works and we get a potential Pf...
Miller, Carney and Amundson to Chicago for Hinrick, TT and JamesOn Curry...I think if we included Utah's first it might not be a bad deal...Like what has been mentioned Kurt is having a down year but does give us some outside shooting and TT would give us a potential Pf...Chicago get a more tradtional point and maybe Carney would do better in a new place, but behind deng and Thuo he problable would not get off the bench..but the pick might come in handy...

I actually like Noah better. He's less explosive than TT with more attitude but his game is more developed and, with a little more maturity, can develop into a solid pro.

Kirk is and will be the better player, he's just having a bad year.
Kirk will never be a premier player in this league.. He is average at best. I, as well as most gm's, would take Miller over Kirk any day of the week. Miller for Kirk would be a horrible, horrible move.

We should not use the asset of Miller's '08 expiring contract to land us a midling PG. Look what Kwame's 10M expiring got the Lakers...
We need to turn Miller's contract into a big man- and next year he will be a huge expiring, along with a probable lottery pick and young players we will have to offer up for whatever star is moved at 60 cents to the dollar.

That's just plain wrong. Hinrich is a top 3-5 defensive PG in the game. He's covered SGs his whole career and done a great job. The year the Heat won the title Hinrich was the only person in the postseason who could slow down Wade.

This might be the craziest thing i have heard in a while.. Kirk is a TERRIBLE defender. The opposite teams strategy typically involves going right at Kirk.

Maybe you're thinking of Ben Gordon? Hinrich made second-team All-Defense last season. He did a very good job on Wade the last two playoffs. He's widely considered a great defender. I'm not debating this with you.
