TJ Ford set to play vs Heat tonight!

Post#1 » by matt2727 » Mon Feb 4, 2008 7:09 pm

didn't see this posted anywhere, my apologies if I missed it and go ahead and delete this thread if so.

"T.J. Ford, the Raptors point guard who hasn't played in nearly eight weeks, is expected to dress for tonight's game against the Heat.

And by the way he was talking after this morning's shootaround, there's a chance he'll get into the game."

I havent seen it posted yet.....

Awesome news...cant say im all that surprised, we dont play again for a few days and the heat are basement dwellers with tons of injuries...gives him a chance to see how he is...

I predict 10-12 minutes tonight... I also bet Jose will be letting out a big sigh of relief that he doesnt have to play 40 + minutes a night.

WOW, much sooner than I expected! Hope he's not rushing it - hasn't he only had one or two practices?

I think he has been with the team for about 1 1/2 to 2 weeks now - but ever since he was cleared medically, he was in Houston rehabbing and getting into shape again. I think he will be fine - he knows the team and knows what he has to do - he shouldn't have a problem getting back into the flow.

It's going to be great seeing TJ destroy weak-ass benches while he works his way back into the starting lineup. Also with Bargs slowly rounding in to form, we might actually be able to make some noise in these playoffs.

If we lose to the Heat, the realgm board has someont to blame.
