I don't know, he left Josh Smith and Iguodala to come off the bench. Those are some good bench players. Also, really young team should be judged by how the players will be in 3-4 years given most elite teams are led by 28+ year old stars.

I didn't actually combine the teams, just the starters. I always looked at it as the bench being comprised of players more like a normal NBA bench and not the best of the players from both teams that didn't make the starting 5. If you do combine the best of both teams from 1-15 then that team would win the NBA championship guaranteed.

It'd be interesting to see Thad paired up against JSmoove....also like to see the battle of the boards between Sam & Al.

Should be a fun game, regardless of outcome.

How does Philly fair in transition defense? The Hawks bread an butter when they are playing well is pushing the ball on misses.

If you get the Hawks into a half court game it's painful to watch. You'll be sticking forks in your eye sockets trust me!

Joe Johnson has been playing the last 2 weeks hurt. Marvin Williams also has a thigh contusion he played through Saturday.

Feel free to stop by and discuss the game with us on the Hawks board.

Sounds a lot like the Sixers. they really only score when they get out on the break. The sixers have worse post scorers and worse shooters than the Hawks, but they are great at creating turnovers and running. They would even be a high scoring team if they could shoot even a little bit.

the Sixers do have decent transition defense. they all hustle and tend to cut off the break.

What's the latest on Iggy?

I see he's listed as questionable with the flu.

The Sixers do not need Iggy to win games. I have noticed no drop off in production whenever Iggy sits the bench. There have been many times when "the young kids" have brought the Sixers back after the starters began the game flat.

Our introductions are so stupid. Especially Sam's and Iguodala's.
