I've been on the Brad bandwagon for a Long time, in fact, I never jumped off.

And Brad's reward for being named player of the week...

getting injured washing dishes after a super bowl party; he's questionable for Wed.

...BUT IS INJURED AS WELL

Miller is questionable for Wednesday's game against Seattle after receiving nine stitches in his right index finger on Sunday.
The accident, Miller said, took place when he was washing dishes after having a Super Bowl party at his home. He did not practice on Monday.- Sam Amick

We just can't win.
This space needs to be filled with a new sig...but I'm too lazy to make one.

I swear we have the most unusual injuries ever in the NBA... i.e. remember that Garcia was injured in a freak dead ball situation (IIRC the ball was stuck on rim) So, he jumped for it and landed on Miller's feet thus rolling his ankle... IMO that stunted his growth... And etc...

This is right up there with Greg Ostertag breaking his leg walking around his house not long after we signed him.

Haha I remember that, but it was his hand if I recall. Still, this ranks right up there! Oh well. Congrats Brad!!!!

Could mean good experience for Spencer. Or the more likely situation: Small ball and Kenny Thomas.

I don't know, that's a lot of stitches, and a right-handed players' right index finger is really important--especially for shooting and passing.

Then again, Brad would still be useful as he is our best big for defense and rebounding.

After me figuring the averages for both Brad and Kobe for the games NBA.com only lists Brad's efforts in 3 games but they were all so consistent it probably didn't change his averages much. By figuring the 4 games Kobe (4 games) had a 34.75 efficiency score which isn't as much above his 28.5 scoring average as Brad's 33.0 efficiency score is above his 14.6 point scoring average.

I've always been a champion of Brad Miller since he went to the Bulls and thought they were crazy for not signing him as he could have been signed for much less than the now traded and for good reason no rebound Eddy Curry who will whine again this year when he probably doesn't make the all star game. He doesn't get it that you have to rebound and give an assist once in a blue moon and block more shots than he does for a near 7 footer even if he doesn't get off the floor.

Brad Miller came up the hard way by not being drafted and many GM's won't admit to their misjudgment and give him the credit he deserves.

Big reasons why Brad should have been slected over Kobe is Kobe had 11 turnovers in one game and he took 11 more shots per game than Brad did to get his 1.75 point more efficiency score.

Congratulations Brad you are very deserving of the honor.
