Not to brag about anything, but i was watching the NBA on Thursday with my friend (bandwagon Celtics fan) and i actually was telling him Indy needs to make some moves. He said who would we deal, and asked if Murphy, Tinsley or O'Neal would be dealt, and i was like honestly, i hope they would be, but i don't see any of those being dealt, then i said i have a feeling Jeff Foster and Marquis Daniels will be goners. Daniels because he can handle the ball, he can drive in, has 3-point range and plays well on defense. And Foster for the obvious. I said we can get "Steals" for both. It was just me talking out of my @$$ but hey, crazier things have happened.

Daniels has 3 point range? Sorry, but that would be incorrect.

Is it at all possible to land Almond from Utah?

Foster - Owens - Graham

for

Almond - Hart - Collins?

I'd also sub in Harrison for Owens/Graham

He's no sharpshooter, he attempts atleast 1 per game. That was my point, i know he ain't a 40% 3 point shooter.

I like that deal alot. I'd prefer Ronnie Price over Jason Hart though. He's 5 years younger, a better scorer and better speed. Hart has good vision and has expierence.

It wouldn't work financially with Price instead of Hart.

Essentially, the only filler on the Utah roster that could make an Almond for Foster deal work is the combo of Hart and Collins.

23% shooters might as well not be shooting. I wouldn't want him shooting threes, even being wide open.

I really doubt Utah makes any major trades, but adding a Foster for prospects/minor deals might be something they would be interested in.

Jazz fan here - I would do Foster and Owens for Collins, Hart and Almond. All three of the guys you'd have coming your way are low-maintenance, high-caliber guys. I hate to give up on Almond's potential with some of the 51 and 53 pt games he's had recently, but Foster would be exactly what we would need to compete for the Western Conference title and a Finals berth. Plus, we've got three quality SG's on our roster now, and Almond may not get quality pt for a year or two anyway.

Morris Almond ain't enough for Jeff Foster.
