What a complete joke of a thread. You have to realize that these guys have been practicing together for days now. It's not like that moment was the first time they've seen each other since the injury.

I like to think I can read body language pretty well and I've even read some on it before.

I'll tell you right now, there was nothing wrong with his body langauge. In fact, if you had looked at Calderon when he took a seat on the bench a little later after that, he was exhausted and breathing hard. If anything, dude just wanted to get a rest.

Calderon even freaking initiated the hug, T.J went in for the high 5's and Calderon added in the hug and the quick pats. Actually, looking at it again, you can turn it around on T.J, he didn't even bother wrapping his hands around Jose. Which would mean he wanted that hug to be over even quicker?

Ridiculous huh? You're way off base here.

And I had to download that DIVX crap to watch it too...

What's astonishing to me is that it's the RealGM vets with thousands of posts falling for this prank thread... Unreal

One of the stupidest spots on TV is Bill O'Rielly's "Body Language" segmant, where he gets some chick to come on and talk about peoples body language. She goes on to talk about their blinking, head scratching, shoulder slumping, nose picking, ear tugging, balls scratching, nipple pinching, etc. When in reality it really means nothing at all. Luckily I just read through the rest of the thread and now I know this is a boogus thread so everything I wrote after this really doesn't matter lol Hahah pshh body language, how stupid.

The original post might be bogus but body language is as real as you can get. It may not get you direct information when interrogating a spy but it can decipher emotion basically 98% of the time. I leave off 2% because people who are well aware of it can use it against others.

When TJ Ford was getting onto the court, and greeted Calderon, you can see that he made a "reaction smile"-aka a non fake smile. The fact that he smiled when seeing Calderon means that he has positive feelings towards Calderon, and he stopped smiling when Calderon was out of his sight. The very sight of Calderon made Ford smile. If it truly was a fake smile, he would have slouched a bit, or make a sigh of relief after passing him. What this proves is that TJ Ford has a good relationship with Jose.

It's really hard to dissect Calderon's feelings towards Ford in that video since it's such a small sample size, and I'm still learning most of this stuff, but from what I can tell he also has positive feelings for Ford.

No I'm not trying to prove that Calderon and Ford don't have a bad relationship; I'm just proving that those who are still conjuring up these theories that there might be an ego battle for playing time between our two point guards, I just can't see it at all. Calderon said earlier that he wouldn't sign with a bad team if they aren't going anywhere and needs another great point guard like Ford to play with. Those words seem pretty congruent with his personality and past character actions. Ford also deferred to Calderon last year when he came back from his injury, and Ford never really striked me as an egoistic guy.
