Man i knew there's be one article at least on "the hug". these writers must be homophobic or something, as if a hug between two guys is something gay. It's not. It's European. Don't see why it's such a big thing, everyone knows that this team is a tight unit and that any sort of PG rift is a construction.
Expand your minds beyond the big 3 North American sports for a moment. Players hugging one another as they are substituted in/out on the soccer pitch is a normal, regular occurrence.
It's damn near homophobic to assume that two guys can't hug it out and it becoming a news issue.
(Not hating on you CHB, you do a brilliant job being the bearer of news no matter how good or bad the selection, emphasis, or focus of beat writers for certain tabloid rags may be.)

Thx for the papers.
Well, boo hoo for D-Wade. He's still got a max contract, millions of dollars from TV commercials and a championship ring. My tears for him are strictly of the crocodile variety. I hope we smash those bastards another three times this season.
No mercy.

Perhaps he'd feel better having swapped career paths with Chris Bosh and playing on absolutely horrible teams for the first few years of his career before even making the playoffs let alone winning a championship? I don't feel sorry for him in the least.

I see Dagger is channeling his best Garbo this morning.

I read the article about the morning shootaround and I believe it is true that the Lakers started it back in the 1960's.
I also remember hearing a story that one day Wilt Chamberlain didn't show up to the morning shootaround and when the coach asked one of the other players where Wilt was the answer was that Wilt was only going to come to the arena once that day, either for the shootaround or the game - which one do you want him to show up to?

Ugly time for Miami. Thanks for the papers!
He should hear the boos...They did this to themselves by trading for Shaq. A Wade, Odom, Butler team would be doing amazing right now...and Wade needs to get in shape as well

This is one of the silliest things I've seen in quite a while.
How you thought the author was being homophobic is beyond me.
The point of a game story is to recap what happened, as well as point out any interesting notes.
I think most of us would agree that the hug was worth pointing out. Not everybody saw the game and if it wasn't mentioned, those people wouldn't have known about it.
I thought it was a nice gesture on Jose's part.
I think that post was ridiculous, but maybe I'm way off base.

Thanks for the papers Coolhandbud!
Now that's a SS Girl!!
Games like last night get coaches fired!!!
I actually think that instead of Pat stepping down as coach I think he may actually be a better coach than he is a GM and the problems stem from some of the off-court decisions he has made since the championship. I know that may seem to cotradict my statement above but that comment relates to the specific event of a 30+ point loss and 9 of 10!
