we must be the only team dumb enough to try a zone against the suns.... and a zone with two slow bigs on the baseline. there was a point in the game where the suns would come down, find the side of the zone that either okafor or nazr was playing and then let barbosa abuse that side.

The zone wasn't a incredibly horrible idea. It took them away from what they like to do. We needed them to shoot badly from the distance, however. That was our gamble. They shoot badly, we have a chance. They don't, we have no chance.

We didn't have any chance.

Without Wallace, it was gonna be pretty tough.

I'll give Vincent a pass on this one. At least he tried something a little unusual. It didn't work out, but I can see how it might have worked out 20% of the time. Maybe.

I think a strategy that involves the Phoenix Suns completely sucking from 3 is a pretty stupid one. Bell, Barbosa, Nash, Marion, even Marcus Banks and Grant Hill can shoot.
