Why not make a run at this guy? I know that Gilbert is a free agent so they'll probably want to move a couple of guys to resign him and Jamison.

Would sending a package of Carlos Arroyo+Keith Bogans be enough to land him?

daniels would be an upgrade over arroyo for sure

With Gilbert becoming injury prone, he is a very valuable asset to the Wizards, I don't see why they would trade him, especially to their division rivals

I say they end up doing a sign and trade and hold on to AD

how about they trade gil to us for garrity, arroyo, dooling and a couple of picks so that theyll be set for the future and can re-sign jamison and get another decent player over the summer

Arenas is injured, but they can still do MUCH better in a trade with Gil than what we can offer in any sign and trade
