I'm hearing a lot of personal diatribe and almost no relevant insight into the NBA. I'll leave that activity to those who need the ego boost of personal attack but have little of interest or thought to say on matters they know nothing of, such as New Orleans and the NBA.

Enjoy the game.

I went personal as a response to personal. You give what you get.

you've earned yourself the responses based on your constant putdown of others who disagree with your opinions.

I agree with many of your takes on differing subjects, but even when I agree with some things you come back condesention and name calling as a response.

Why the hate?

The karma of leaving Baron off the all-star game starts.

Roy can play in the all-star game, but now 10th in the playoff positioning game.

Paul can play in the all-star game, but now lost 3 in a row. But they will be fine, but like to see Scott sweet a little for being a Dick.

And soon Roy will start sucking, making people wonder why they hyped him so much. Paul will also continue to get torched by guys like Sebastian Telfair.
Meanwhile, Baron will become a playoff hero once again. :)

How about Baron just shoots for the league MVP? I think he's capable. That would alleviate his getting left off, plus he gets time off to get his body ready for the grueling second half. Not a bad deal. Would that be an NBA first? It would sure make a lot of NBA people eat crwo. One can only dream. lol.

i think thats been his goal, but now the snub makes him more hungry. baron at MVP level means the Warriors go farther. Baron knows that the teams success depends on him.

im not gonna hate on Roy, although i do believe Baron did get the short end of the stick...but by March, Portland is gonna play themselves out of the playoffs and into the lottery.

and by then, the hornets will be playing middle of the pack playoff ball too. they arent going to have a #1-4 seed.
Lets Go Baron Davis...i dont care what jersey you put on. Lets go.

BTW, I really (depending on what Webber brings) believe that we can make an even greater run this season with the ability to present a serious challenge to anyone. Webber has the potential to add so much to this team (his experience alone could help a great deal) and with the depth we now have, it will not require that much from him on the floor. If he shows that he can fit in right away into our offense and it doesn't suffer with him, we can really do some damage this season I believe which will make us even better next season.

I agree with your assessment about Portland (and even the Hornets). That Hornet loss at home against us may have done some serious damage to their psyche. A 4th or 5th place finish is not out of the question imo. The only team that we haven't shown we can beat right now of significance is Utah and possibly the Lakers with their new acquisition.

its all about Webbers ability to exist with what we have. the alternative is if webber doesnt fit, we can go back to what we had before him. we have so many players that have the potential for going off.

i really want Webber to work. he really can have an impact (and im talking about the 08 Webber, not the 93-94 Webber which we arent getting).

if he can get the team 8-10 more rebounds per game, not just him getting rebounds in terms of stats, but him boxing out, tapping the ball out, or muscling guys out so one of our guys can get the rebound...we can be nasty. i really believe he can get us at least 6 more possessions a game.

Question...just curious if somebody on the West gets injured between now and the ASG, is another player voted on to the team and if so, who decides?

I think the league decides on replacements due to injury from here on out.

Baron Davis just got passed by Deron Williams on the injury replacement depth chart. He'd better really smoke Chicago if he wants in.

Baron is not going to the all star game either way. It's time to move on and let this discussion go.

Why can criminals like Kobe and AI make ASGs despite their horrible off-court behavior, but Baron can't? I still find that somewhat shocking.

I suppose Stern could say OK to Baron but, if he was asked to make a call and that was the call, the snubbed player would be Deron Williams. Baron would get trashed a la Roy and West at that point since Utah is so much better than the Warriors and Williams is so much better than Baron Davis.

"Williams is so much better than Baron Davis"

Come on, I think Williams is gonna be better in the future, but you're talking like you're comparing Dwight Howard and Adonal Foyle.

It's common knowledge that I'm a huge a$$hole on all things Baron this year. But this has nothing to do with that. I've seen Williams play a lot, even when he was sort of s :censored: ty for a bit a few weeks back. Right now, he's playing as well as anyone in the Western Conference and the Jazz are the hottest team in the league. Watch him if you can. Remarkable play. Won't go unnoticed if a spot opens up.

What are the Jazz up one game on us? Whoop-dee-doo. We've been ahead of them practically the entire first half. It's just that their recent run that's vaulted them ahead of us. That's no justification anyway to give Deron the nod. Roy got the nod in the first place, and we're ahead of them now. Can't wait until we face the Jazz, then we'll find out who's better now. Let them try and cheat along with refs with Boozer and company tyring to push people around with CWeb out there. There'll be a freakin' war.
