hedo missed those layups because

a) he should've taken it stronger and tried to dunk it
b) he got pushed on half of those attempts and got no calls, watch his reaction after
c) i think you're right, during warmups he just takes jumpshots, i've noticed that, too...but don't say he doesn't take it seriously when the dude is trying to do everything for the team.

I've gotta admit that Hedo missing all those easy shots last night was bizarre. He was blowing by the defenders and then missing the gimme. Just one of those games. But yeah, perhaps he should do more layups in warmups.

maybe he was trying to save some energy for the game. we know he was not at 100% health past couple of games...

also, we should appreciate that our forward created 13 assists while rest of the team including PGs had a total of 9. He had 12 def rebounds matching the rest of the team including rebound master D12.
We are obviously unhappy about loosing the game to Dallas and would've liked the layups to go in... but it's a bad time to talk about the work ethics of last two week's Eastern Player of the Week.
He has been playing lots of minutes, give him a break.

Yeah have to agree... although he missed layups I think this performans is better than a 26 point 5 reb 5 assit game... best would be if the Magic had won but you can't win them all :wink:
