Right now I have to say Crawford . VC's done, he got his contract and now its party time. When Magic Johnson destroys you on national television you know the end is near. Nets are screwed as long as Carter and his huge contract are in the swamp.
Serious sport has nothing to do with fair play. It is bound up with hatred, jealousy, boastfulness, disregard of all rules and sadistic pleasure in witnessing violence: in other words it is war minus the shooting.

there is a players comparison board...
The OP is so transparent.
He adds "all around...including heart" in his criteria obviously trying to play to the VC has no heart angle then he uses two more posts to support Crawford when there wasn't even 10 replies on his thread yet....
anyways, I think Crawford gets too much hate in general. He's streaky & a bit selfish but he's got decent handles, clutch player and can be a good fit w/ certain teams.
However, a healthy VC is still better than Crawford. Crawford is a career 40% FG shooter. Career 34% from 3 pt. He's not as good a rebounder or playmaker as VC either.
even with the VC hate on full effect lately I still think most people would still take VC over Crawford

Doubt it, he would just chuck more then he does in New York. Crawford is surrounded by players who hog the ball, put him in Jersey, and that just gives him free rain to be the most selfish player on his team night in and night out. And the problem with him being selfish is that he doesn't have the talent to back it up.

What the hell? This has been one of VC's worse seasons (worse being his 5th, injury prone season) and he's still having a better season than Crawford. And no offense to Magic, but just because he's a great player doesn't mean he has great analysis. He's made some pretty weird comments on TNT before. Just look at MJ for example, he's the GOAT, but he's one of the lower tier of GM's (or whatever the hell he is) in the league.

Crawford has scored double digits in the 4th quarter 13 times this season which I believe is third behind Kobe and James. Thats pretty impressive and shows how clutch he really is. However, being a Knicks fan I have watched Crawford over the past few year alot, hes a great scorer but very streaky, the best way to get a streaky shooter hot is by getting him a few easy buckets and free throws, with Crawford being the point guard and the main guy on the team right now he has trouble getting easy looks to get him hot. If you watched last nights game you will know what im talking about he was 0-6 or something for the game then the 4th quarter he penetrated and got an easy layup then he scored 13 points in like 4 minutes. As a number two or three option he would be great, especially in the 4th quarter when he can really take over.
Hes just too streaky to be a number one option like he is right now, and to a lesser extent Randolph, both are great scorers but when there shot is not falling it really is not falling, Randolph has an easier time getting easy hoops though because of his size and position.
If you read what I said above you would see that in my opinion Crawford could be a winner if he were put in the right position and he has a great attitude and work ethic. Teams are realizing Carter is like Sam Cassell, youll get a good year or two out of him when he first gets to your team but then he just fades and takes bad shots complains and is just sort of an a$$, your not gonna build a winning team with either of them. For that reason and the fact that Crawfords contract is half teh size of Vince's ill take Crawford.
