Aussie Shaq
Who is this kid? Can anyone give me a better scouting report on him beside what draftespress and .net say? Thanks

saw him play last night again and hes a freakish talent great shot blocker great rebounder and he just loves too flat out dunk in anyones face
pretty decent post moves
um right now hes conditioning is a concern but its something thats easily fixed
i think hes at least top 5 in the 2nd round i dont think he'll sink any lower

The Aussie's don't have many basketball talents. He's probably the biggest baller in Australia so they call him Shaq.
Oh Canada is just busting with bigs I suppose

Australia has Bogut obviously, but they also have some serious young big man talent.
AJ Ogilvy tore the world champs up last year and is now averaging 17ppg in 25mpg for Vanderbilt as a freshman. Maric is playing well for Nebraska, Jawai looks like a prospect, Neville for Utah looks like a good 7ft1 Centre, and I could go on....
The NBL also has ex NBA bigs like Anstey, etc, so Jawai looks pretty impressive.

i dont think Hodge was that bad of a player of course nbl is nowhere near nba level
a lot of people seem too also forget that Jawai has had a year of college in the U.S too and he hasnt been playing basketball for that long

which got me think nbadraft.net has not seen one game of hes lol
I know

For mine he is more a Magloire type player, but hands wise Magloire is not a good comparison (cuz Magloire has stone hands).
Maybe Dampier, with more of a nose for offense?

yeh i agree with the dampier comparison but im think Jawai seems like he might be a better shot blocker than dampier too
i guess we'll see
