Are we the best-shooting three point team ever?

Post#1 » by thecc » Tue Feb 5, 2008 8:36 pm

Raptors are shooting over 42% from three point range this season. That is astonishing for a team to shoot that well. Does anyone know what the record in a season is?

not an attack on the post, just a general question ... have there been any championship teams that were known as a three point shooting team?

Wow. thats pretty good.

now i have another reason to get mad now, especially everytime someone misses a threepointer. or heaves a shot half the distance from the goal.

i get stressed enough when Raptors dont get a 3 FG before halfime to keep the streak alive.

i would rather not want to know that now. :noway:

The spurs finished third in the league in 3 point % last year, and were 7th in attempts.

This isn't directed at you, but I don't understand why so many people on this board hate and criticize "jump shooters". Most of the best teams in the league usually have several good outside shooters.

There's a difference between using good outside shooters to their advantage... And living/dying by the jump shot.

Return to Toronto Raptors
