I know, really. Only 1/10 of the posts have actually been related to the game.

I agree and thats why I suggested we just drop it. Hell, I've even said I'd be willing to make a deal with the guy despite what happened with us previously. I just refuse to let him play the victim. He complains about his reputation being tarnished but 2 different people made trades with him involving the same protected Knicks first rounder and both complained afterwards that the deal wasn't what they agree to. I don't think he has any right to play the victim and that is my point.

In any case, as long as people are extra cautious with him in the future I don't see any reason why he can't still be in the game. Maybe next time someone makes a trade with him they can insist on posting the original deal and have him quote the acceptance. It isn't a complicated situation. I think this issue with the trades has been discussed to death and since the other guy isn't as pissed off at the situation as I was I think the league should just make a call regarding this trade so we can move on. The league is letting this thing drag on for too long.

Ok guys,
First thing, Personal attacks of any kind are not going to be allowed. This is your first and final warning. Secondly please do not post anymore about this topic until Bryant or myself have posted again. We are discussing what should be done to be fair to all parties involved and we will let everyone know as soon as we can.

A trade between the Pacers/Bobcats/Hornets has been made. It's been 12 hours without a veto so if someone could update the rosters I would appreciate it.

Just drop the whole issue Clyde. I am OK with the trade being vetoed. I want all of us to play a fun and entertaining game. I don't want to be the cause of any problems between me and my fellow GMs'. I am not pissed at the trade being vetoed or not going through. I was just disappointed the way my name was being dragged into the whole thing as someone who cheats.

I would appreciate if I can get something back from him as compensation for all the time and effort lost on my part as well as the other deals for Brewer that I lost.

The pacers would be over the roster limit if that trade went through. He must cut one player then it can go through.

If you make a trade, is there a timeline you need to wait before you can trade that player? I know in the real league there is. But what about here?

As far as I know, just the time it takes for the trade to be approved. Please don't trade for a player then trade him again before the first trade has gone through. Makes it even more confusing to check everything out.

Boston is interested in signing Elton Brown and Andre Barrett to a 10 day contract (I believe I still have time, if not then I'll sign them to the prorated veteran minimum for the remainder of the year). Anybody have a problem with that? Boston has 2 open roster spots (Brandon Wallace is not on the roster which stands at 13).

RIP Hamilton and Tayshaun Prince have been taken off the untouchable list. Detroit is fielding offers for both.

The trade is off, but I'm going to have to charge the Sixers their next 2nd round pick.

I assume that means it goes to Utah.

Not necessarily. After the Joe Smith scandal, picks were just removed and there were only 59 picks. We should probably do it that way.

Hey if we could have both run the Knicks it would have been different but Boston isn't so bad. It's not like it's the Nets or the Bulls. :D

You can check the rwalgm picks section. It says Philly owes Utah its 2008 second pick but its top 45 protected.

Cleveland is listening to all offers for all players not named Andre or lebron. And if you trade for a big, give me at least a big back.
