Best memories at the ACC for me are all about the playoffs. 3 games in 2001 specifically:
Game 4 against New York-Childs, Vince, and 4th quarter Alvin stepping up with huge games to force a game 5.
Game 3 against Philly-Lenny Wilkens gets a standing ovation as he comes in. Vince plays what might be the greatest performance every by a raptor. We leave the game with hundreds of ppl walking on the street chanting JYD JYD and LETS GO RAPTORS.
Game 6 against Philly was sick too, except where I jumped up and collided
with the old lady next to me.
Games 1,2 and 5 were alot of fun last year too. Especially game 2. Game 5 was fun too, but I could'nt get too excited at the end of the game because it seemed like TJ and Jose were both injured for our return to the swamp, and frankly I wasn't too optimistic. While everyone was walking around celebrating, I was just walking around asking anyone and everyone, "how's jose? U hear anything about jose?"

Don't mean to pick on you, but I see people screw this up all the time. But didn't Childs take an off-balance double clutch 3, trying to draw a foul because he thought we were down 4 not 3?

Yeah the first home game we beat NYK in the playoffs was awesome. I don't think Vince had a dunk yet that year or in the year before and on one of the first plays of the game he shook Spree IIRC and crowned the whole team.

I lost my mind and don't remember much after that.

Considering all the times you've been warned for posting IBTL and baiting mods I'm not surprised you'd offer your 2 cents. :wavefinger:

Is that really considered a violation? im not spamming or causing any arguments, i'm just stating a fact.

Toronto currently sits at 414-585 all-time; if we finish this season undefeated, and go 82-0 next year, we'll only need a 68-14 record in '09/'10 to be .500 as a franchise!

And I'm not trying to pour sulfuric acid on the '1000 game' parade...the fact that we were so awful makes the fast ascent past mediocre, and straight to decent, all the more delicious.

yea we were down by 3, and he took a ridiculous shot bottom line. and its too bad, because he had an amazing series too.

Vince over Boston. Vince over LA. Followed by Vince at the Dunk competition. Then Vince over Houston. That was some stretch.

lol so? It is a valid point in this conversation. It just shows how much the Raptors have grown as a franchise.

Im happy it took almost 1000 games to finally have a complete team, which no one wants to be bought out or traded. If only Kenny Andreson would play for us...

that was the biggest heartbreaker.

But it wasn't OT.. it was the end of the 4th. After Jose missed 1 of 2 freethrows.

my first raptor game was the one where the raps beat the bulls. That season the Bulls set the record at 72-10. I remember i think it was Kerr missing a three pointer at the last second and then Jordan gets the rebound and hit the game winning basket, but released the shot after the buzzer so it didn't count.

I have the Vince beats Boston and Vince beats LA on my facebook links. Vince aside, those are still enjoyable to relive even to this day. That dunk that Vince pulled off in the Clipper game literally made my jaw drop.
