TJ's website redesigned

Post#1 » by Franchise_411 » Wed Feb 6, 2008 12:10 am

For anyone that cares, TJ has redesigned his website ... two interesting things:

-as for leaving comments, it looks like his webmaster is going to screen comments from now on, thus no more "hate" posts from his critics
-on one of his videos, TJ says that the team sometimes hang out together, but most of the time they pair off and do their own thing, he usually hangs with Juan Dixon, I guess the team is not as close as the media makes them out to be

How does that follow? Who in the media has ever said they spend every waking minute with all 15 guys in a room?

once, i remember in a bosh interview, he said the players dont exchange gift at Christmas (cept for Hump who hands out fruit baskets) lol. this was really odd to me, because even in regular offices, coworkers exchange gifts.

they aren't that close at all it seems.

I guess that's the impression that I got reading the papers, whenever they're on the road, the team is always hanging out together ... Not that they should be spending every second together, but teams like the Pistons and Spurs always talk about the "brotherhood" how they're all close off the court and how it translates on the court ... but whatever ...

It'll be very odd if 15 men spend each minute of their life together.

Man, these guys have their own lives too you know. How often do you hang around ALL 15 of your friends at the same time, let alone teammates - or in a broader sense, co-workers. You've got got different personalities, different age groups, different ethnic background... the list goes on. I'll just be happy as long as they get along on the court and in the locker room. I can care less if they spend time with each other outside of basketball.

LOL. I have 10-15 friends who I would call my close friends, but it's not like I hang out with all of them all the time. It's normally me and two other guys (no homo), that will hang out, and then we will meet up with the others for random stuff, but it's certainly not all of us together all the time, haha.

Their grown ass man, I would expect them all living their own lives. Can you imajine all 15 players going out together, like everyday. Like TJ said in the video they all do things together, but most of the time they are in pairs or go do their own thing.

I guess that's the impression that I got reading the papers, whenever they're on the road, the team is always hanging out together ... Not that they should be spending every second together, but teams like the Pistons and Spurs always talk about the "brotherhood" how they're all close off the court and how it translates on the court ... but whatever ...

Also TJ never said it wasn't "brotherhood" just not like all 15 players hang together.

I can tell you right now. NOT ALL 15 Players of Pistons & Spurs Hang together, maybe like 2, 3, or 5 of them but not all. Even Carlos said he was mostly with Billups, McDyess or RIP. If I remember correctly....

Man, I love this. Only in a Raptors forum can you have a thread regarding a redesigned website turn into a possible issue with team chemistry.

Hmmm, I thought Bosh was TJ's best friend, now its Dixon? Did Bosh switch to Jose? Is the team split into pro-TJ and pro-Jose camps? BREAK UP THE TEAM! TIME TO REBUILD.

I posted before in one of those "Calderon can't play D" threads ... Bosh is usually talking/sitting with AP and Jose, while TJ is with Dixon and Rasho ... teams will no doubt have their little cliques ... I started this thread, but I guess I'll go along with the sentiments of everyone, it doesn't matter who's friends with who ...

Yeah, it would be odd if all the players spent their lives with each other. However, it would also make a hilarious sitcom.

"15 players, 82 games, 1 house"

Joey: Hey, Hump, I got my finger stuck in this door hole. Think ya can help me out?

Humphries: Awww again, Joey? That's the 4th time this week!

*laughter*

Joey: Just get behind me, grab my waist, and help pull me loose

*Hump grabs Joey and begins to push and pull*

Unsuspectedly, Darrick Martin begins to overhear the conversation from his room.

Joey: "Ughh.. OH, OW. Yeah, that's uh.. Ow."

Humphries: "I can't do it, Joey! uhhgh!"

Joey: "Harder, Hump! Hump.. harder! Hump, harder!"

Darrick Martin to himself: "What the hell is going on in there?"

*laughter*

*Jose walks in on Kris and Joey*

Jose: Hola, my friends!

*Humhpries and Joey turn around still in the same position*

Jose: Ay yi yi! You Americans are muy loco!

*laughter and applause as the credits roll to the theme song*
