I have money on the Celts as well, even with Garnett out I think they can cover the spread (they are giving 4.5 I believe).

Watching the Lakers and Nets game, should be intertesting. Odom with a TKO on Jefferson.

heh, Lakers are going to be ridic when Bynum is back.

If Kobe is cool with just shooting 15 times a game they're going to have ridiculously open looks

Hmm... Nets, Lakers... good (token) resistance by the Nets so far for the home fans. Lots of bad homie Net calls by the refs IMHO (what's that about? NY $ betting?).

Anyways very interesting to see Pau Gasol out there trying to fit in with Phil's triangle offense. Notice the Lakers are trying to simplify things for Pau...

Funny, I would've picked Cleveland to cover at home. They did beat them last time when they were at full strength.

Conley's out for the Grizzles. Boy, is Memphis' stadium empty, but I was hearing that they're having bad weather.

Yi is also out for this game, so Charlie V gets the start for once.

Yep for sure...

The thing is, with that Grizz/Lakers trade there were 3 "players" involved in my mind... the Grizz, the Lakers and the League Office. I think Stern for sure wants a (favourable) tv finals matchup of LA vs Boston...

Sad but true... both huge tv and money markets...

Damn--The Cs hung 66 on Cleveland in the first half without KG.

Yes but the Cavs are only down by 2 at the half... plus yes KG is missing for the Celts, but Varejao is missing for the Cavs (and no, I'm not comparing the two, just stating who's out...)

Guess I'm thinking Lebron can crank it up at anytime in the second...

Did anyone see what happened in the Nets / Lakers game.... Carter apparently got called for a foul and didnt like it, walked over to the scorers table and asked Marv Albert if that was a foul, expecting the homer answer, and Marv albert said "Yes it was a foul Vince", and he got even more upset.

Can anyone confirm?

^ it is going to take a some time for them to click and for Kobe to figure out how to effectively play with Gasol.

Kobe isnt sure where, how, when to pass Gasol the ball, and he is over the top trying to share the ball tonight.

But when Kobe, Gasol and Phil all figure it out, and Bynum comes back... watch out!

lol, nets announcers are being hard on carter. Questioning the usual inconsistency, perimeter shooting and lack of agressiveness that carters displays on most nights.
