Shaq for Marion deal in the works?
Why would the Suns want Shaq? He doesn't fit into their style of play.

I think its a good trade for the Suns and could help them finally get past the Spurs.
Sure Shaq is a shell of his former self but hes still ''decent'' and he is still 7-1 300+ pounds,he could at least slow down Duncan in a 7 game series just with his sheer size.

I think this is the most likely possibility
Once Kerr sits down and talks to D'Antoni and realizes that this is just not a good fit he mostly likely forget about it. Besides the run and gun factor, what do you do with Amare now?
I guess play him at PF, he could definitely play it, but the dynamic of Amare/Shaq could be unstoppable or a horrible defensive frontcourt....if you think about it really.
I think they could clog the lane pretty well, but Amare's horrid man to man defense and Shaq's lack of mobility are a bad combination. But while the Amare/Shaq combo would dominate 80% of the time during the regular season, it's just could they get it done in the playoffs?
I think Cuban has always wanted to add Shaq since he was moved from the Lakers. But, something just doesn't sit right with me if Cuban gives in and acquires Shaq. It's just I love Nowitzki and I loved the Heat vs Mavericks finals. I thought Dirk, the Mavs and Mark Cuban was robbed of a championship.
I was happy to see Wade get a championship, but some of those calls were pretty horrible and that kind of officiating is what I hate about the NBA and what makes casual fans able to compare NBA basketball to WWF wrestling.
Cuban would be essentially buying a championship with the addition of Shaq. In this day of age when star players can dictate when/where they are moved and owners can buy championships it's just something that doesn't sit right with me.

Since Riley isn't high on Dorell Wright.. wonder if he would consider gifting us Haslem and Wright for Simmons and CV.. probably not.

before this trade rumor broke , it was reported out of miami that shaq would be out for at least another month and possibly more after the results of his tests on monday.
is this one of those type of injuries that if a player is on a bad team that is tanking becomes real and extended, but if traded to a good team, goes away immediately?
if shaq actually is traded to the Suns, does he become a back-up much like Mourning was a back-up at miami?
