Nesterovic vs. Kwame Brown

Post#1 » by WesWesley » Wed Feb 6, 2008 6:03 am

Brown
PPG 5.7
RPG 5.7
APG 1.2
SPG .7
BPG .8
FG% .515
FT% .40
MPG 22.1

Nesterovic
PPG 4.1
RPG 3.9
APG 1.0
SPG .2
BPG .5
FG% .493
FT% .615
MPG 16.0

Both players have similar stats, except one has the stigma of being an underachieving bust, and the other has a stigma of flying under the radar.

Both are so incompetent offensively but Rasho edges Brown here. Rasho makes me pull my hair out because he always seems to get good position and always manages to never finish, but Brown is just worse. I also like Rasho better defensively, he's not only a good overall defender but he's a good anchor and communicates well with his teammates.

Rasho has a decent jumper and some post moves, he's better on offense than Kwame and has proved this historically. He isn't great but he's a lot better than Brown.

Kwame is, however, the superior defender, regardless of what Choker says (sorry!). It is the one marketable skill he has, really.

I didn't say Rasho was better defensively, I just prefer him as my defensive anchor because he communicates well with the team and he's really not that bad defensively.

Oh, my apologies. Yes, I suppose as an anchor he'd be superior because he's a better help defender.

Rasho if I have many foreign guys on my squad. He speaks 5 languages or so, and is generally seen as a nice veteran locker room presence. Not to mention he has a ring! :D
