Would Wally be a good fit?
Check Wiretap:
His contract expires the same time as Rasho, and Rasho and Juan would likely get it done.
If Seattle includes their 2nd rounder would you do it? He's a true SF who can do multiple things. He also has a relationship with Sam and has played with KG so knows how to defer to a big.
He's a money 13/3.5/2 with 1.5 3PTM a game and does get to the foul line about 2 times a game.

No way we would want Wally. His contract is big and he doesn't add anything that we don't currently have. Now, unless Seattle is packaging him with Delonte and Jeff Green or something, I can't see the Raps even considering. Outside of Rasho we don't have any big contracts, and even moving Rasho for him wouldn't make sense, given that Rasho makes around 4-5 million less.

Somebody else said it, but Wally at this stage isn't that much different than Kapono. Except Wally is overpaid and hasn't been healthy in years.

Nurse is below average at best.
Masai is overrated.
I dont get how so many people believe in the raptors, they have zero to chance to win it all.

No thx anyways.
Really I don't remember that at all. Do you have a link? Minny vs. Toronto as a world class city hmmmmm.
But for the record, Kapono is no Wally, never has been, never will be. Wally was a top teir player, but had trouble staying healthy recently.
Even this season, in limited playing time he's performing well
Regular Season Ranks
Ranks #16 in the NBA in Three-Point Field-Goal Percentage(0.419)
Ranks #26 in the NBA in Free-Throw Percentage(0.844)
Ranks #45 in the NBA in Three-Point Field Goals Made(65.0)
Ranks #29 in the NBA in Field Goals Per 48 Minutes(9.61)
Ranks #28 in the NBA in Field-Goal Attempts Per 48 Minutes(20.77)
Ranks #28 in the NBA in Three-Point Field Goals Per 48 Minutes(2.88)
Ranks #21 in the NBA in Points Per 48 Minutes(26.9)
And is one of the only players on the Sonics, that plays meaningful minutes, with a positive on eFG Allowed, and a positive when on the court.

The kid was a terror in Miami Ohio too, man that was a great NCAA tourney he had.

DP: What's a uniform you couldn't see yourself wearing in the NBA?
WS: Maybe Toronto, just because it's in Canada. I just couldn't see myself playing in a Canadian country and having to deal with all those tax laws ... plus the customs every night going on and off the playing court. That would become a big hassle.

Wally would work out better for us than Kapono, I think. Kapono's a better three point shooter, but since we're not working hard to get him shots, we might as well bring in the more athletic / slightly better rebounder... certainly helps that his contract runs a year shorter too. Kapono + Wally on same team makes no sense though
