Ok, what teams are having a Fire-Sale, and who can we get?

Jab is right, he isnt needed. Dice has a slightly similar game if i recall, and with the emergence (i hope) of Amir Johnson we dont need big men really; and if we wanted one it needs to be a big center, not Joey Smith

well i doubt they are having a "fire-sale", but after artest's remarks, maybe sac-town will trade him. i know this isnt the first time ron has said something stupid and his team just ignores it, but maybe we can offer them some first rounders.

I think that we arent really in need of more youth on this team, and if we could steal artest, we would be amazing.

I am willing to part with Jarvis, Hermann, Primoz, and Flip. ****, any combination of those guys, and maybe a pick, is better than what Memphis got for Gasol.

If that's all we had to give up, and we don't extend him, I'd do it in a second. I actually think he would play great for us and just play his role. I know everyone thinks he is psychotic, but I think he would realize this is a great opportunity. That would make us a lot tougher.

This is based on the idea that Artest is a reasonable human being who thinks in a manner vaguely similar to the way you and I might.

Empirical evidence suggests otherwise.

Someone pointed this out already, I think, but it's impossible for us to land Artest without trading a starter. I believe the Kings already have a full roster, which means sending a bunch of players is not an option. The only way to land Artest is to trade a starter and take on one of their bad contracts.

, i wouldn't give up our 1st round pick in next years daft, but a 2nd round. Artest can opt out at the end of the season.

I know this is RealGm and all, but do we REALLY need a trade this year?

^That depends on your current assessment of our chances in the post season. Im still unconvinced that our chances are in any way improved from the previous two seasons, so I wouldnt mind a move of some sort.

Dont see one happening though.
