Don't get me wrong Rag, I'd like Stro to have an positive impact but I thought the same thing when he joined the Rockets.

Yup, In Houston Jeff Van Gundy seemed to love pulling out Stromile at the end of games, and the Rockets blew a lot of 4th quarter leads that way...

Hopefully he is able to build a good relationship with Coach Frank.

Swift only fits with a few teams in the league. The Nets happen to be one of them.

Rag, here's an interesting article by Dave D'Alessandro. Check it out.

This team will definitely run more now with Swift here, he's an energy player playing with Kidd will help him I believe

I hope Swift actually gets to play... If the Nets can't win they might as well put together a few highlight plays.

Wait We are a running team again.

I thought we were a half court team that needs the offense to go through VC.

we're not a half court team nor a running team. We're just a team that can do both in a very very mediocre way.

But i think we have a small adv going with the running game especially with our young front court, RJ, and Kidd.

We cant really be a half court team because
1. Frank's schemes suck
2. noone outside vc and kidd can create
3. even when plays are created only around 4 players can actually finish them. if that.
4. They dont play with enough energy to create good opportunities

Kidd's playmaking ability is simplified now. If he's not running (which he desperately wants to do) He floats around the perimeter trying to thread needles. Result? TO's or botched/blocked layups in the crowded paint area. No more drive and dish with this guy anymore. Now with the questionable defense and terrible as usual shot, he just puts up nice but no-impact numbers.
