stupid mistake by ESPN (Bottomline)

Post#1 » by Bucks_Revenge » Wed Feb 6, 2008 8:20 pm

I was watching at espn and the the bucks/ mavs and the sports ticker at the bottom scrolls at the bottom....and it says "Ford: 4 pts in 17 minutes since coming back from injury"

I know this was not necessary for a thread but I just thought it was funny. This is great proof of how espn doesn't really care about Milwaukee...this is not the first time a error has been made for the bucks...

or was the tj ford trade all a dream is he still a buck.

This is better then any TI threads.

that is nothing compared to the spelling error they made during PTI last night...the side bar of the show has what topic is up and every night they have a topic called the "big finish." Apparently either a racist intern or someone who didn't bring their reading glasses to work did the graphics for yesterday show and "big" was replaced by a 3 letter racist word. How that slips by production is beyond me.

Hmm, it appears to be fixed on the webcast espn video beta version...

Huge mistakes would be accidentally posting the obituaries they already have written for say Al Davis, John Wooden, Gerald Ford (if anyone remembers the SNL skit).

My favorite is how ESPN still uses the purple logo when they show our games. Granted they fix the big logos but the states update that pops up above the score is still the purple one.

Sean Salisbury ripping on John Clayton is another ESPN gag that gets old.

Anyone remember trying to look at Ryan Braun's ESPN profile last year shortly after his call up? It linked you to Ryan Z. Braun the reliever from the Royals with our Ryan Braun's photo.

There is also this one...

Definitely James Jones from the Packers.

Yeah, I bet some racist did it on purpose. Not like the letters are right next to each other or anything.

LMFAO, I never saw this before!

For some reason, I can't picture Berman swearing at people.

As a Bi-racial I would be VERY upset to see that this is not someone who is a fellow bi-racial with decendants from half of his family hailing from Finland.

if any of you folks have done tv, you would realize that 8 people walking around while you are trying to read off a teleprompter isn't easy. plus 8 years ago Berman was on top of his game, so him bitchin a little is acceptable.

I don't care if there were 1,000 people walking around, he's a whiny thumbsucker. Even "on top of his game", he sucked.
