OT: 3 Point Contest

Post#1 » by Buck You » Wed Feb 6, 2008 8:36 pm

Kobe
Rip
Daniel Gibson
Jason Kapono
Steve Nash
Peja

Those are the contestants for this years 3 point contest. Should be fun to watch. No Redd again, I bet he's pissed.

When's the last time the best two guards in the NBA were in the 3 point contest? I'm not saying Kobe and Nash are the 2 best, but it could be argued.

Big names on that list.

Rip Hamilton? There were better options. Sure he's shooting great from deep this year, but he's not known as a three point bomber. The guy takes it if he's WIDE open.

Which is the case during a 3 point contest. But yeah, you have a good point.

Well all of those guys can hit more than 47% when they're wide open  . All those guys are gunners, Rip is not.

Rip thinks that his 3-pt shooting is underrated...We'll see in this 3-pt contest.

I remember when Pressey was in the dunk contest. I think he did a layup. I was a big Pressey fan but that was truly embarrassing.

I also laughed at first, then I remembered he has missed 24 games in 2 years for meaningless dunks.

If Redd were in the dunk contest he would yell "Oh and 1!" on at least one dunk.

On that note, I'm excited to see him tomorrow night talk about stuff that matters.

Embarrassing? I would've given him a 10 for originality.

Bogut
Dwight Howard
Shaq
Amare
Ha Seung Jin
Daniel Santiago
Ben Wallace
