It's funny to see the official Colorado 14'ers get more posts and views than the official game thread, that says a lot about the team.. :-?

We'll just get to see if Vince will bring it a 2nd straight night. We know he's getting shot up and feeling better so if he doesn't, we'll know it was only the Kobe factor or Jackson's statements that made him play hard yesterday.

He should be able to dominate Hedo. But on the flip side Boone will probably get dominated by Howard because Howard is simply a different species. Hang in there Josh.

But these basic predictions mean nothing because the nets always find a way to get demolished by some random player who sets a season high. Adonyl Foyle looked like Emeka Okafor last time we played. So i guess we just need to watch out for everybody. Basically, you know, play defense, but I may be getting ahead of myself here.

I'll be watching for growth from Boone and SWill against Dwight. No more Collins to bail us out when the young'uns get in foul trouble. They'll be undersized so I wonder if we'll get a Magloire sighting.

Our best win of the season was last time we played ORL in ORL a few weeks ago. They are going to be gunning for us all out. Everyone's got to bring their A+ game to make it a game.

WINNING STARTS HERE

Hopefully Frank remembers he has a big body that can help defend Dwight.

I remember reading some article on NetsDaily about how Stro would miss the game against the Lakers and the one against the Magic.

I think Frank wants him to learn the playbook or something or at least that's what I recall happening with some other new player the Nets got in the past (I don't remember who but I'm pretty sure the same thing happened...)

last game vs Magic the Nets completely stole a win they had no business getting.

Orlando led by freakin' Arroyo (!) was destroying the Nets with simple pick & roll game, Kidd could not stop him. Jameer had an awful game and was owned by old man Armstrong and I doubt Armstrong gets any meaningful minutes this time around.

Frank switched Kidd onto Hedo last time and I hated that. Hedo is way too good to match like that. It has to be RJ / VC combo, and Kidd in spots and maybe Antoine (if he decides not to be completely useless again...).

This is a physical Orlando frontcourt which Boone / SWat don't like but we'll see if they raise their game.

VC needs to bring the same intensity he did last night w/ less 3 pt settling and hopefully better jumpshot. Hopefully RJ's face didn't swell up and he's good to go.

Will Stromile even factor into this game ?
Will Krstic get more than 3 freakin minutes...?
Will Magloire get to sniff the court if Dwight starts manhandling our starting frontcourt ?
Will the Nets drink the Magic's milkshake ?

Expect another tough night but hope for the best. Hopefully Dwight stinks it up on the FT line Boone-style.

This seems sad but I find myself thinking like the OLD days were i would check the box scores DC, Kenny A and Petro's stats. Then it was Jay Will the first, KG the first, KVH and special K. Now it seems to be BOONE, SWILL, BOKI and if JKIDD will get another triple-double. And just like it was in those days I hoped for a win...... but if we got it it was a bonus.

HAVE WE GONE FULL CIRCLE?????????? :dontknow:

DAMN I HOPE NOT!!!!!!

Actually Kidd straight abused Hedo when he was on him, he was getting rebounds over him forcing him into wonky-honky shots, Hedo has impressed me this season but he's still not a very physical player.

you know what's sad? Is Frank using the excuse to "learn the playbook" ... Thorn made a comment about it too, how Franks offensive sets are so "advanced and complex" ...

Does anyone else find this sickening?

I dont understand why you would call a timeout when the other team is shooting so poorly, granted ur not running a good set yourself but common.

The whole entire year, we have been burned by outside three point shooting... and still Frank, we don't defend it well, what gives!!!
