Orlando Magic Pubs

Post#1 » by cwas2882 » Thu Feb 7, 2008 3:03 am

It's been quite a few years since I've been to Orlando. I'm going to be going to go to the game on Friday. Is there a bar by the arena that's a "Magic Bar"? Thanks for the help.

That's almost a humorous question, lol.

Used to have that Dennis Scott restaurant, which was pretty cool. Nothing else really that I know of.

Hoops on Amelia between the courthouse and the amway arena is a little hole in the wall that a lot of fans go to before and after the game. The bar is Cash only and its cheap.

On a kind of related note, I was at Universal last night for the AvA show at Hard Rock Live. I stopped into NBA City (next door) to watch the Magic game. It was great! I had the entire upstairs to myself and my gf, and we watched the game on a huge, like 30 ft projection screen. Best experience watching a Magic game ever, except in person. If anyone wants to catch games somewhere, I'd highly reccomend it. One drawback is it is fairly expensive (like $6 per beer), but a great atmosphere. I'm thinking of going there to watch the slam dunk contest next weekend.
My 2 favorite NBA teams:

1) Orlando Magic
2) Whoever is playing the Celtics
