Will Ferrell tries to pull off a Jamario Moon

Post#1 » by Pharbo » Thu Feb 7, 2008 3:34 am

In his new movie "semi pro" he copies Jamario's number and last name, at least Jamario will get some publicity.

Very odd that it's even the same number, but I doubt when they wrote the movie they had any idea who Jamario Moon was.

That actually would be an awesome idea. Ferrel would do it too as it would promote is movie big time.

Personally, I don't really find him funny. A bit overrated imo.

Wow, that's hilarious.

I haven't found any of his recent work very funny at all. He used to crack me up like crazy... but not anymore.

FYI guys. All comedians play themselves in movies. So it's the same everytime. It's their brand of humoor. Do you know 1 comedian that re-invents himself every movie. Sure, some do get tiresome but I still find Ferrell funny.

Not everyone plays the SAME character over and over. There's a reason why a lot of people are complaining about will Ferrel , not other comedians.
He did play a somewhat different character in the movie stranger than fiction and it was a good movie.

There are a lot of room to work with even within their brand of humor.

I'm not saying the same CHARACTER. I'm saying themselves. How many times have you said to yourself "Oh man, that's so Jim Carey or that's so fill in comedians name here" beacause of a familiar trait or the way they deliver a line in a movie. It's beacuase that's their humour in real life.

Yea I get what you are say, I wasn't contradicting you, I was just talking about how will farrel does the same (Please Use More Appropriate Word) character in pretty much all his movies.
