Davis can't switch numbers without asking the league for permission like one year in advance.

Didn't Daniel Gibson switch from 21 to 1 during his rookie year?

I don't know about that but it is the reason why Penny wore #7 even though Wright was willing to give him #1.

he can. Because when a guy gets traded you are allowed to give up your number for him.
Just like dermarr johnson did last season for AI when he came on. He gave AI number 3 and took number8!

Hmm, I guess he can have #13 if Alexander Johnson wants to give it up. And Ricky originally wore #21 during his first stay here, so he may be willing to switch back.

He can wear 34. I am good with that. I doubt Pretty Ricky gives us his number for a player he probably thinks he is better than. As for Banks, he could be the first Heat player to wear #2 since my boy Keith Askins in the late 90's.

Very unlikely. We might see them in uniform since we are short in healthy players though. I think Sunday vs the Lakers is more likely.

Antoine Walker switched from 88 to 8, and Jefferson switched from 8 to 7 a few games after Walker got traded from ATL to Boston.
