what amazed me is not his 3 pt shooting, he went cold 2nd half, but the 2 clutch rebounds he got in OT...thats heart

Did anyone catch Booner calling Korver "hot" after the halftime break? they showed a close up of him on the bench and he just says "Korver is hot"....he didn't follow it up with anything, he just said "Korver is hot" and stopped.

The casual listener would think he's referring to his shooting...but we all know what he really meant.

A few of the people in the first row look like they think Korver's pretty sexy too. Especially the two guys farthest to the right.

On the radio Deron said that he was asked by a fan if he ever calls Korver "KY" because he is so silky smooth. He says that he has a couple times now along with a few other guys.

ps. This came up awhile ago but it was Deron that told Hot Rod to stop calling him "Slick."

Listening to to all these people on the radio and calling into the radio trying to give Kyle nicknames is hilarious and sad. Here are some examples:

"sniper"
"downtown"
"the good 3pt shooting guy"

Somebody please send a memo to the people that graduated from the bolerjack school of broadcasting that names like this suck. Ive been meaning to just send an email saying use "Instant Korver", everything else DJ, PK, Alema and fox have come up with as long as the listeners suck. Notice how the only nickname of theres that has ever stuck was money. I mean whats next Matt "lunch pale" Harpring, or perhaps we can call him the Foreman, because he gets the job done... :nonono:

Dont forget Hot Rods "secret agent man"..to which the drunkard replied, he was a secret and we got him, he was an agent when we got him and he is a man.

and why is it when we do want to make nicknames why is it that they are the gayest thing possible. I mean K2 is decent, especially since this is Utah, but everything else sucks. I just laugh because everybody that tries to give people nicknames gets rejected.

Deron with "slick", "the iceman", "the cometh". Willy is the only one that Boozer and Sloan have made stick with him. Hell even slam got rejected by Deron when the fans voted him to be the "icepick". The only good nickname we have was made up by Former Jazz great Quincy Lewis (Ak47). But since people have such a fascination lets get these nicknames out of the way:

Deron "Metro" Willams
Ronnie "HQ" Brewer
Carlos "the clear" Boozer

Matt "the foreman" Harpring
Jason "flatline" Hart
Paul "3-way" Millsap

please add your own as well.

Man, whats it like 18 games since Kyle has got here? Is it just me or has it just flown by?

Its crazy how much better kyle has gotten sicne he has been here. I think he never dribbled more than 5 times in a row is first 10 games, and never dribbled more than twice before shooting his first 15 games. Now he is driving, fast breaking, pump faking and moving. Pretty much all the moves he should be doing.

But is there a guy on the team to panics more than korver when he has to dribble up court a little, or if there is preasure? Thats his one big fault I think, hes a guard and needs to be able to do that better and with more confidence.

Lately at the gym EVERYONE thinks they have to shoot it 10 times as fast and about about 8 feet behind the line and yell korver when they are doing it. Running down the court if there is someone open behind the line you have to yell korver and pass it to em. No to mention you could have a the time in the world to shoot but you have to shoot it before you even realize where the hoop is. I think everyones shooting percentage in my pick up has gone down about 25% since the jazz got Korver.
