Honestly, Yao should tell himself "**** the midrange jumper!!" Just get in all the free throws. Yao should be motivated than ever and go to the gym and practice his post up power and defensive game. Yao shouldn't leave the gym until after 1,000 power post-up dunks.

At least he's willing to admit the truth. Acknowledging the problem is the first step towards solving it...

Yao loves acknowledging his and the team's problems. It's just that nothing ever changes. There are stretches where he realizes that fallaway isn't working and tries something else, but usually even if he misses 8 in a row he'll try to score on a 9th.

Yeah, he'll turn it around, but he shouldn't have to turn it around.

i wonder if he only ate organic foods, took vitamins and antioxidant supplements, would it benefit him on the court? i think so.
for a guy his size, his heart likely works harder than anyone else on this planet since there arent an other 7'6 dudes playing pro ball. Not to mention all that traveling.
Also, is he getting enough sleep? apparently he's a video gaming addict.

Yao. no more french fries. no more mcdonalds. no more mass produced american garbage food. No more late night warcraft sessions. thx

I wonder if Yao is just eating Chinese take out every night. That's a no no. To be honest I hate whole wheat and whole grains most of the time. These cereals and brown rice tastes like crap but I've grown accustomed and that shiiit is rich in fiber. Whole grain bread and wheat bread aren't too bad and they are the cornerstone of a performance athletes diet besides veggies and or sea veggies <<< even better. The Team Chef and Yao should come up with something he likes using these components.

nah i dont think he's eating chinese takeout very often, considering his mom probably cooks everyday.
i know JVG had a very very strict conditioning routine, which probably included nutritional and dietary standards..
its doubtful that adelman shares that extemely stringent attitude when it comes to conditioning.

maybe if Yao started blazin on the chronic before each game and got some head from his wife after the game he'd play better..
