Are the Nuggets actually pursuing Mike Miller?? I've only heard about fans saying it but i've never seen a source.

^exactly.

but i say we go for all 3, without giving up melo, ai, or camby... and kmart too.. and, nene.. and najera, i like his hustle... and kleiza, he scored 40 points once, remember?... and, umm, JR smith, his dunks look nice on 2k8...

so yeh, if we can get all 3 without giving up all of them^, im all for it...

I'd like to see us get the player who would cost us the least to give up from our roster without adding a pick of course.

don't understand that part about Kleiza... He hustles, is somewhat consistent by ranking of our other bench players. Can shoot, can drive, has good bball IQ. Those are reasons to keep him at all costs. Good teams have great role players and Linas is exactly one of them. Nuggets could easily leave go Nene, JR, Yak, maybe Nene. Not Linas the Savior

All of our 3 point shooting for a premier perimeter defender........that's a rough choice. Honestly it makes it easier to guard against easy comebacks, but it also clogs the middle on offense again.

They'd have to throw in a token perimeter shooter just to balance it.

i'd do that...

if we could move some kind of combination of Kleiza, JR, Atkins, Yakhouba and maybe even Najera for Miller, Artest and a big body scrub or 2, i think we'll be solid come playoff time...which MAY see Nene back

wishful thinking, i know.

okay i think yesterdays game was a sign for our front office. we are able to shut down opponents big man (thanks to camby, martin and najera) while opponents backcourt has great games against us if yakhouba isn't on the court.

i think i want Artest or at least miller now. i don't mind A.I. playing the point with a lineup of:

AI/Artest/Melo/Martin/Camby

We really have enough fire power. artest would be a nice addition to our team. artest, if you read this, you are extremely welcomed if you come for J.R+Najera 8)

EDIT: I want to wake up on february 21st, i can't wait 14 days to see some things happen.

I like Artest the most right now after the Utah game. 56 points from Williams and Korver is unacceptable!

yeah, i remember the old days in philly when Korver always was held to 0 points whenever an capable defender guarded him. this guy can't create his own shot! the only thing he does is standing at the 3pt line the whole night. i can't understand why any 3pt threat scores that much points against us. if it's j-rich or korver... i HATE this :( we gamble much when 3pt shooters kick the ball.

i'm not even scared facing the:

Nash/Hill/Diaw/Stoudamire/O'Neal - Suns

or the:

Fisher/Bryant/Odom/Gasol/Bynum - Lakers

if we have a defender like artest out there playing major minutes... the best shot blocker in the league inside, a very good man-to-man defender in martin and a player who can also guard many PF's in the league in Artest out there... i really doubt that fisher would make 30+ because of threes again with artest being here.

It starts to look like the perfect solution for me. I don't see any negative aspects

Office? J.R.+Najera => Artest , please! NOW!

EDIT: I think i have to make an Ron Artest Jersey switch signature now. i like this trade more than the Kidd one. :o

EDIT2: it even works!
http://realgm.com/src_checktrade.php?tradeid=4479632
check the trade checker! plus it makes sense for both sides... the kings get a hustler and defender (what they'll miss when artest will go) and a player who's a great talent and would see more time under every other coach.

EDIT3: Breakin news... the celtics are highly interested in adding cassell. the plan is a buyout and new signing. do we still want to do NOTHING or do we want to add artest now or never?

Apparently Rick Bucher reported on ESPN Radio today that we're talking a blockbuster with Sacramento right now. This supposed deal would have us trading Nene, Kleiza, Najera, JR, and a 2nd Rounder for Artest and Bibby.

I don't like it, we can't afford to trade two bigs (and Kleiza) without getting any back. And I never thought Bibby would be good fit.

i dont want bibby either. the jr.+najera+1st rounder for artest was a good deal. i dont like the "blockbuster" deal where we send our whole talent away. nene is an important piece to a championchip in my eyes.

We don't need Bibby (even though he can shoot), that leaves us with virtually only Hunter as the only big man on the team, I think a simpler trade like Don said, JR + Najera + 2nd Round for Artest, would benefit us more.

interesting.
we'd definitely be playing small ball, with melo, ron and kenyon switching around the 3 and 4...hunter might see more minutes, which can only be good right?
and we could then *try to* move atkins for a low post body..doesn't have to be anyone oustanding.

bibby/carter/ai
ai/ron
melo/ron
kenyon/ron/melo
camby/hunter

any d league low post prospects/bangers worth looking at??

we really should get Bobby Jones back in too

I don't like Bibby on this team. Bibby and AI at the 1 and 2 is not helping anything on defense. I'd rather have A. Miller than Bibby if were going after a PG. Just try for Artest and move AI to the 1 and be done with it!
