Anybody else notice how the Mavericks have been reletively off the radar this season. I think they are going to be on a mission durring the playoffs. They could beat anybody. (Except Golden State).

Well, as of RIGHT NOW, I'd say the Lakers, only because I haven't seen the new improved version, which on paper is better than the one that already gave us trouble. That uncertainty is a little nerve-wracking. If they don't play together as well as they should, that might change.

Anyone who didn't click the Spurs should immediately be stripped of their Jazz fanhood.

I am just as daunted as anyone by the prospect of a Fisher/Kobe/Odom/Gasol/Bynum lineup, but the Spurs have made us their bitches for long enough now that until we rise up and prove that they don't own us, then they still deserve the benefit of the doubt.

Not only that, I think too many people are selling the Suns and Mavs short this year. They might not be quite as formidable as each was at their peak, but they are still both legit contenders, above even the Lake show, imo.

If the Mavs got Jason Kidd I would put them right there with the Spurs. If not, they're lumped with the Lakers and Suns.

I think the West will come down to match-ups with the winner being between us, the Suns, Spurs, Mavs and Lakers, I don't see any other Western Conference team even coming close.

Otherwise the Jazz might be the best team in the West!

Where did you get that from? Our GM was on radio today saying Bynum is working out, looks great and is right on schedule for a mid-March return.

Spurs and Lakers should be nasty. I can't imagine a post season Boozer being bullied by a 20 year old kid.

Not to mention he has the modern Jordan, not to mention a solid big (gasol), something he never had with the Bulls, and is it fair to say Odom's game complements Kobe's just as Pippen's did w/ Jordan?

Stay the F*** away from the Lakers at playoff time. I'm telling you...

this is counting on the coaches orders being followed, which, kobe has a history of not doing, and getting away with. jazz's players follow sloan more now that we dont have so many free-lancers  on the team.

that being said, i still voted lakers. im just not at the level of "stay the **** away." okur and korver will give them more fits than kobe or gasol will give to us IMO
