Well, we got 17 more home games left, so that's 17 more wins for us, that'll put us 49 wins, if we can just get about 4 or 5 road games that should do it.

The question should be if the Jazz will win the championship.

No, if all we do is win out at home that will probably get us the division, because it will ensure winning the season series with Denver, and I think that Denver will finish just shy of 50 wins....either 48 or 49.

As for the Jazz, I'm seeing right around 54 wins, give or take a couple either way.

Obviously, that means the Jazz would win it.

As for the Blazers, that Brandon Roy selection is going to look pretty funny when the whole "we should reward them for winning so much" philosophy goes the way of the dodo. I see them finish right around .500, maybe even below it. I'ma say 40 wins even.

But that is the last 6 games of the season, before that, its really not that bad and we should be able to secure the division by March.

The Jazz. I'm not a homer by any standards (e.g. I agree Williams didn't deserve the all-star spot), and for most of the season was still thinking that it would come down to the Spurs, and MAYBE the Celtics, but since Korver I've come to the conclusion that we now are a new breed of good. We are on the contender level for sure. If we stay healthy, and San Antonio stays in their funk, we only have the Lakers to really worry about.

Looking at Aprils Schedule
Utah
Wed 02 vs Minnesota Win
Fri 04 vs San Antonio Win
Tue 08 @ New Orleans Loss
Thu 10 @ Dallas Loss
Sat 12 vs Denver Win
Mon 14 vs Houston Loss
Wed 16 @ San Antonio Loss

Denver
Tue 01 vs Phoenix Win
Sat 05 vs Sacramento Win
Sun 06 @ Seattle Win
Tue 08 @ LA Clippers Win
Thu 10 @ Golden State Loss
Sat 12 @ Utah Loss
Sun 13 vs Houston Loss
Wed 16 vs Memphis Win

Portland
Wed 02 @ LA Lakers Loss
Thu 03 vs Houston Loss
Sun 06 vs San Antonio Loss
Tue 08 vs LA Lakers Win
Fri 11 @ Sacramento Win
Sat 12 vs Dallas Loss
Tue 15 vs Memphis Win
Wed 16 @ Phoenix Loss

The April schedule does not look good for us. I think unless we are up a couple of games we could lose the division to the nugs in april. That last game between denver and utah will be huge. I allready got tickets.

I think the Jazz are getting their groove together. I see us winning the northwest division.
