its hard to imagine that hes reached his ceiling at age 21, what do you think his stats will look like in his prime.

This year has been a downer with all the injuries and everything but I agree, I don't know if he will ever be that first option CONSTANTLY.
He can be for few games and he will has his moments - He is still young though and still learning - Look at Caron Butler - people ever thought that he would be like this???
It doesn;t look like that right now but who knows.
I see his ceiling as 25ppg 8rpg 3+apg 1.5spg 54%fg in his best years.

his ceiling is last year's playoffs. He would make a sweet #2 but needs a #1 preferably in the post to help his game.

No way. That's almost KG like numbers.
So? Kevin never put up stats for the sake of stats. His impact on games was a hell of a lot more than his 22/12/5 statlines. A 23/9/4 line from a 2nd option (Depending we either get a legitimate post-scorer or Ben Gordon returns to his 06/07 form) isn't all that unrealistic if he plays within the team schemes.
Trust me, with Kevin his numbers never gave him justice. If we were to translate his impact into stats (Which is damn near impossible, but just for kicks and giggles) I'd say his impact was worth around 35/20/10 each night. A prime KG was just the pure definition of team play and unselfishness.

all-star on a team with a good record, second option to a superstar.
Precisely. Its not how many points he scores, it how he scores them. Good efficiency, doesn't need the ball at all, good defense, real team play, no bad shots.
I don't value him like a potential superstar like some of the Bulls fans around did, but he's a guy who can be an excellent, excellent 2nd option.
